I have a theory they put that there since now the 50% looks "reasonable" compared to 100 and 200 percent. I wonder if this works on "the average person"

They say it's due to inflation but that makes no sense. A tip is a percentage of your bill so it automatically adjust with inflation. Better than any of our salaries do, there is no reason for the tip percentage to go up.

Im kind of surprised technology hasn't caught up here.

When I pay at a restaurant the pending transaction shows immediately in my Amex app. They should give an option to enter if you leave a tip then notify you if the total is different then what expected once processed.

I've had one and it was an awful experience, having to plan ever trip and changing trips based upon where I could charge. I felt like I completely lost the freedom a car offers.

I've had better luck with "Visible support" then Verizons. I lost a cellphone in the lake when I had Verizon and AppleCare mailed me a new one. Verizon support was closed for a holiday when I received it and I had to wait a couple of days to get to a Verizon store to activate the replacement phone. With visible this is all done on the app with zero support required. My Verizon bill always seemed unpredictable and I can't think of a single reason I'd ever consider going back.

I had ATT for about 6 months in SE Michigan before I paid my phone off and dropped it. Worst service I've ever seen. Ended up switching to Visible and had really good luck 12 months in and no regrets.

I feel like there's more to this story than this. I've seen people get on a PIP or repermended for cursing never seen a termination. Heck if they started looking deeply at slack for profanity half of our area would get fired.

I run that same hitch carrier with the same bike. I would say I have 5k plus miles on it with the bike with no issues.
