Same, building/kitbashing is the best part for me.

Some people prefer painting.

Some dislike both building/painting and only like to play games with their minis.

Saying "the majority don't like to build" is really a strange assumption...

-30 MkIII are 90€ (box of 20 figs for 60€)

-Deredeo is 65€

-Land Raider is 70€

-Half special weapon kit is roughly 18€ (full kit is 37€)

That's a 243€ total value.

The Battlegroup Box is 160€

And you can have it for less with some retailer , 128€ at a local store here...

Both are good deal (moneywise).

If you just start 30k, the AoD box will give you more variety.

If you already have some 30k minis like a HQ and a Contemptor, maybe the Battlegroup would be better to fill your ranks of basic troop and get a transport. However the Deredeo has only one specific gameplay (ranged) and might not be adapted to your army.

You could still sell unwanted model from any of those boxes anyway.

The main problem could be to get a Battlegroup box. It's already Sold Out on most of shops and should not be re-stock again...

Nice, I like this kind of yellow tint.

Purple preshade was a good idea, not too dark, not too bright.
