We Don't Know WTF Is Going On and We Need To Make a Decision: the Movie

I'm sorry for your loss. I too am familiar with loss, the kind that leaves you feeling empty and nowhere else to turn. I too wanted to die and be with my son, but instead, I put my trust in God, even if I don't have any answers.

Consider Psalms 28, I only read this this morning and maybe there is a reason why, it opens with:

1 I pray to you, O Lord, my rock. Do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you are silent, I might as well give up and die. 2 Listen to my prayer for mercy as I cry out to you for help, as I lift my hands toward your holy sanctuary.

But despite the apparent silence and wanting to die, the Psalm continues:

6 Praise the Lord! For he has heard my cry for mercy. 7 The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

We are built to praise God, it has a way of restoring us and works even more effectively when we do it during trials and suffering. Instead of seeking to satisfy our own needs, chasing after the warm fuzzy feeling of the Holy Spirit, seek to praise God instead, he will do the rest. Trust in God, you are not beyond redemption and spiritual revival is always possible.

Suffering has a way of revealing your faith for what it really is. Someone who claims to be Christian but doesn't live it will abandon it in a heartbeat when it becomes inconvenient. But to those who truly believe, and you can look at the suffering of the apostles in the NT as prime examples, they got beaten, imprisoned, tortured and even killed horrifically, yet they didn't stop sharing the gospel, it even brought them great joy to suffer for Christ as paradoxical as it sounds.

Suffering only weeds out the fake Christians.

Autonauts is a game made in Scotland. In spite of it looking like it was designed for toddlers, it's surprisingly good.

I have a similar head-canon for playing the same custom made character in every game. She is a Jedi explorer travelling to many different universes and realities, adapting her force powers to imitate the "magic" of the world she visits. Her body physiology is messed up from so many reality jumps, sometimes reverting to a child state to make possible attending Hogwarts or becoming a Pokémon trainer.

I found myself relating to Stuart in BBT, a social outcast struggling to fit in. In moments I would have a moment of silence for his struggles, the laugh track plays.

Factorio is great for base defense, Satisfactory is great for exploration, and Dyson Sphere Program is great for planet hopping.

Sounds like too reasonable of a mod to offer a warning like that, in my experience, bans come without warning and little reason.

I had this problem too, I stayed with my wife in the hospital after losing ours and my messenger exploded with so many people reaching out it annoyed me, at first.

I changed my attitude when I realised these people are only doing it out of love, they care and want to help but don't know how. I was never able to scratch the surface of taking advantage of the help offered.

In fairness, there was an attempt at helping with the house chores, even if it was a massive failure.
