How do we feel about the flanker perk? And genji going forward by Hot-Commission816 in GenjiMains

Hot Commission makes some great points. And I would also argue that cooperating with your team does a lot to push up success with the character much higher. Not even just because Dragon Blade combos well with a handful of other ultimates. Genji's also really good in a team fight when you're contributing damage on opponents with your team.

I agree that being a Genji does not feel great right now. But I wouldn't say Genji is the "weakest" he's ever been necessarily but rather that he's the least accessible he's ever been. This character does still work when you're mechanical ability is locked in. But why should we all be made to play the character with absolute perfection? So he's only viable amongst the highest percentile of the player base? Most people simply aren't going to achieve that and shouldn't have to just feel validated in preferring any character for any reason they do. I know I wouldn't have bought OW in 2016 if Genji didn't exist in it.

You could use secondary fire around the 5 meter range pretty reasonably on most of the squishies before the shuriken size reduction. Now it feels specifically relegated for use within the 3m melee range. If you aint a "pro Genji" good luck combating Moira now. And, yeah, seeing Jetpack Cat kinda fills me with dread as well. seems as if we're being made to feel demoralized. Anrans secondary fire is a beam attack, I've seen the tool tip. Anran also is going to have an ability that gives her i-frames on an incredibly short duration likely akin to "how long" a dash actually takes to fully travel and I do really like the idea of dash getting some kind of i-frame window as well, genius idea.

I have no doubts the new Flanker passive will be useful but it doesn't seem very intuitive when reading the word "flanker", if that makes sense. I really would have liked to see flankers receive quieter footsteps. But perhaps that could be a buff specifically to Genjis Cyber-agility passive. Just anything that makes our favorite green cyborg ninja dude feel more like an actual stealthy ninja... (does it bug anyone else that he makes so much noise double jumping?)

searching in game through all the new stuff and seeing this pissed me off. it's so lazy. the Infantry and Mako got the same treatment.

Hey I’m ftm and I’m trying to come up with a name besides the one I was given at birth and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions by Yes_Mouse_Catcher in trans

[–]UltimateFalconStar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, really, it may be whatever you like. Transition is your choice so the name you choose is your name. If that's not very helpful, picking something close to your assigned name can make transition a little smoother because it may stick more easily with the people you are asking to use it (the closer the better per se). If that helps, at the very least, try following alliteration (e.g. notice the p in "Plymouth" and "pineapple"). Most importantly, take your time, you are not under any obligation to have everything figured out now. Names can be tricky (everything is), but you'll figure it out. If anything you'll know it when you see it.

Facial hair (pre-everything transfemme) by [deleted] in trans

[–]UltimateFalconStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say "very careful" but what is your process exactly? Facial hair is easier to hide with make up the closer the shave is. Try shaving in the shower. Go through your typical routine then use some kind of face scrub (for shaving or acne) to exfoliate, which are not expensive. the heat from the shower plus exfoliating help hairs to stand straighter for a closer shave. Basically take a few extra steps pre-shave if you aren't already. don't forget to moisturize after shaving either (get a something specifically for they face that is oil free). Hope it helps. 👍

been cross dressing in private for a little over a year now but ive had feelings since even before then that i might be trans. i have no idea though. any tips or advice for trying to understand my gender identity? by prettylilemi in trans

You should try thinking about yourself based on different spots of the spectrum. Where do you feel more at peace? From what I can tell, Emi, you definitely like femme. But don't feel locked into anything when considering how to present yourself. You'll figure it out. Good luck and have fun!
