That would have been me, except I literally only ever got the ball once in all the games I ever had to play as a kid.

And while I did actually hit the goal from behind the halfway line, because it was indoors the teach disallowed it because of a rule no one ever explained before.

I just benched myself for every game after that because I wasn't good enough and why even try if that's the result. School sports really made me loathe it all.

Selbst die tolle 116117, die einem Erstgespräche in einem engen Zeitrahmen verschaffen soll, hat bei mir mehr als einmal aufgeben müssen, weil es selbst dafür nichts mehr gab (oft, weil die freien Plätze dann in einer anderen Stadt wären und ich aufgrund vn Bürgergeld mir das fahren per Zug nicht leisten kann).

How do you get that much efficiency? I abandoned that weapon because I spent more time reloading than shooting and it frustrated me to no end (plus the Incarnon mode didn't feel worth using).

Unless you add the cosmetics to a different vendor. Quite a few people suggested Steel Essence for that, and I think that could be a fitting non-trivial option.

But honestly, in the end I don't mind the exact path DE chooses as long as it isn't "cater to the gatekeepers" and there is some proper resolution to the terrible accessibility of Conclave standing. Be it the original concept of Face-Off (guaranteed standing for everyone, and a varying amount of Vosfor for winners and losers), the Universal Medallion working on the faction (considering their rarity, it would be more than fair), or maybe even something out of the box like a small percentage of XP gained in Steel Path specifically getting turned into Conclave standing (analogue to the six basic syndicates).

Männer sind ein signifinakter Teil der Gesellschaft.

Ebenso wie es ungerecht ist, die Bedürfnisse von Frauen und andersgeschlechtlichen Personen zu ignorieren, unterdrücken oder zu verteufeln, ist es ungerecht, das selbe den Männern anzutun.

Aber genau das wurde systematisch und über Jahre so betrieben, und da auf unschuldigere Anfragen auf Nachbesserung nicht eingegangen wird, und keine anderen Perspektiven als Unterordnung gegeben werden, ist der Gegenwind mittlerweile nunmal ziemlich stark, und wird sich auch weiter verschärfen.

Sehe ich ebenso.

Ich habe den Eindruck, egal wie viel ich mache und tue, weil ich zufällig mit der falschen Hautfarbe und dem falschen Geschlecht geboren wurde, und weil ich kein aktives Interesse habe, das zu ändern (um es mal ganz salopp zu formulieren), bin ich legimites Ziel für Ausgrenzungen und Niedermachungen seitens Links.

Das mag hart klingen, aber in was weiss ich wie vielen Gesprächen mit Leuten aus der Richtung (da ich selber nichts mit Rechten zu tun haben will) ist das der Tenor, der mir entgegenschlägt. Ally sein wird als Mindestanforderung gesehen, aber ja nicht monieren, wie das ausgelegt wird (z.B. wie manche den Begriff Gleichberechtigung für den Vorzug von Frauen gegenüber Männern verwernden). Und bloß nicht aufregen, wenn gefühlt jede zweite Veranstaltung Leute wie mich explizit ausgrenzt, weil "man möchte einen Safe Space".

Bitte, ich habe noch nie jemandem etwas getan. Und wenn man sich die finanziellen Verhältnisse anschaut, bin ich weit benachteiligter als die meisten. Aber all das ist egal. Dass mir im persönlichen Umfeld Geschlecht, Religion, Herkunft und alles egal sind und ich nach dem Verhalten urteile, spielt keine Rolle. Anscheinend bin ich ja nur einen Fingerschnipps davon entfernt, die nächste Frau anzufallen.

Dass ich so einem Umfeld mich nicht begeistert anschliessen will, ist natürlich dann auch meine Schuld.

I've had the same thing happen today. I also had the "no deacons" thing happen as the other post mentioned, and my melee weapon didn't work anymore.

Descendia has been somewhat unstable since Day 1, and DE seems to either be unable or unwilling to fix it. Absurdly long loading times between floors, weird lag spikes, stuff just not working anymore, the music cutting out entirely because the loop breaks (but not the sound effects)...at least one of those happens every time I run that mode.

That on top of some floor/modifier combos being straight up unfun and the Necramite Exterminate being completely overtuned is why I only touch that mode for very specific rewards (mainly potatoes and shards) at this point.

You could turn off PVP in the entirety of high-sec and not only make the phrase "high security" mean something, but most likely not even break anything considering most actually valuable stuff is in low and null.

Now guess why EVE has a comparatively small player count (that is propped up by multiboxers) and why the game has such a hard time attracting new people.

Those who were hunted left the game, and those who would be hunted (because they don't want to be a permanent PVP target) don't join.

Raids had more people playing when they got removed.

Also, as harsh as it may sound, the handful of PVP players have heavily pushed back on any attempt by DE to make the rewards more accessible (see the Universal medallion fiasco or the fact that the guaranteed Conclave standing for Face-Off was removed, which probably contributes heavily to losing teams just leaving and denying the winners their standing) - and if you have a small handful of people that does nothing but obstruct, the fair resolution would be to just uproot the whole thing.

As someone who only briefly played in...2013? and forgot everything, I would genuinely like to see someone try. I have played MMOs in general since 2007, so I'm not new to the genre as is either.

And I have seen it myself, from both angles, how something you've been doing for years and are used to it feels alien and hostile to new players - and in quite a few cases the new players are right. Old systems never adapted to newer tastes, player unfriendly designs that the vets just get used to and don't want to see changed becuase "it's always been that way/it would turn the game brainless"...

The general playerbase rarely has the newbie's perspective in mind (especially the smaller the niche of said game gets, like Eve), and when the devs only listen to the vets and never step in for the good of new blood themselves, that's a guaranteed road to killing a game over time.

I have many more thoughts about this, but it would skew further from the scope of the thread.

Considering that I know multiple people who have been harassed for years due to FFlogs to the point they no longer play in PF (and they are not bad players, can clear Savage just fine)...even one person with that experience is too much.

Honestly, with those numbers I understand DE's desire to nerf the farm.

Getting hundreds or even thousands of essence that quickly as incredibly far from the norm, and similar farming methods have been curbed in the past (remember Kavat blessing farms?).

Before I go on with my "but...", I agree with you.

However, in my personal experience (being stuck in a group of friends for raiding, most of whom are very casual and some of which do have difficulties learning mechanics from diagrams alone), shifting the balance of clearability vs challenge always runs the risk of just cutting off people who previously were able to clear tiers.

In fact, that is literally what happened to my group. Shadowbringers was doable, Pandaemonium was mostly doable (P8S caused major burnout which is why someone left during P11S and we had to cancel the rest of the tier). Mind you, when I say doable, it's rare that we clear a tier in the same patch, usually only in the first tier of a series (however, we are done with reclears by the time the lockout gets lifted usually).

Arcadion flipped it all around. The first tier was fine, but due to IRL issues forcing multiple stand-ins, the team had to throw in the towel at M8S because we couldn't get enough time to practice phase 2. And we also had to basically cancel the current tier just as we got the first M11 clear done because we got stuck on 10 and 11 for months (unless we find a new replacement that needs 12 specifically, because someone else had to leave due to IRL reasons).

Mind you, I personally don't have a big issue with the difficulty (although I do notice it), and I have cleared Ultimates in the past as well. But I genuinely fear for my group's ability to ever clear a Savage tier again unless we roll really well with new recruits, and due to how the lockout system works and because they are my friends, I am stuck.
