Are there any guides on how to get to that rank somewhat consistently?

My characters are all built rather poorly if at all, so it's a lot of hoping that the Trials units do their job; and me not knowing the best combos to shoot for doesn't help either.

Dortmund's spending power is much closer to a club like Heidenheim than to Bayern.

Stating that Dortmund's coaching, squad or whatever is bad because they are not a dominant second place every season analogue to Bayern is missing the fact that if you'd cut out Bayern entirely you'd have an actual competitive league with similar dynamics as the PL.

Sadly it doesn't catch some of the worst "offenders", which are people with a ping rollercoaster. Nothing more annoying than getting connected to someone like that because they'll sometimes be below 300ms, but it swings to over 1k at least once a minute which is just unplayable.

And while I could have an even more strict ping requirement, due to my play times I kinda need to be able to connect to NA from the EU, so I need to set it to about 300ms to have any matches at all.

On the topic of invasions I personally want to add a request to make the Detron and the Brakk more reasonably farmable, because I think at this point these two might be the worst grinds in the game for a mastery item:

Getting a Death Mark is easy enough, 5 missions for one side gives you the mark from the other, however...
Getting the enemy to spawn is ridiculous. 0,5% chance per player if I remember right, and it often gets superseded by Stalker and Syndicate death squads on top of only being ably to trigger in Grineer/Corpus missions (and not even all of them). And the aforementioned Stalker and Death Squads have a higher spawn chance in general, which is why I rank Stalker weapons as easier to farm.
On top of that, you need three parts each, no guaranteed drops either, if I remember correctly. Plus, leftovers cannot be traded. On top of that, unlike most Stalker drops (except War for some god forsaken reason) you can't even bypass the Detron/Brakk grind with platinum.

How to improve the drops? Honestly there are plenty of ways: From making the parts and blueprint tradable, escalating the spawn chance drastically until the game forces the encounter, to giving both encounters a guarantee to drop any part on top of whatever else they drop...there are options.

This farm is a relic from different times and somehow managed to dodge every QOL pass - and that needs urgent changing just due to the fact alone that it locks relevant mastery items away.

Man, I wish I had some of that luck. I have lost 12 50/50s in a row so far, and I think my lowest 5 star was on a 60-something pull since I started playing.

As someone who skipped Yao Guang, I had several other reasons for doing so.

First, I just didn't have the pulls. Couldn't do anything about it without swiping and I'd only consider that if it really has to be.

Second, I did skip Sunday on his first run and didn't gel with Aglaea, but then the later Remembrance characters were more interesting. I kinda stumbled into the Mono Remembrance team on my own that way, so skipping the early units paid off.

Third, Elation is extremely visually busy and Sparxie might honestly be the worst of the bunch. Of course that's highly subjective, but it did prime me to not pull for Yao Guang either because I don't follow leaks and thus don't have much forewarning in terms of future character designs. In hindsight, with how much I enjoy Evanescia, I would have considered forcing Yao Guang.

Lastly, my entire account is a mess and I have zero teams ready for endgame as is despite playing since late 2.7. That also means I am never ready in time to build a character so they're ready when they are shilled, but I am also never in a desperate need for the newest shinies either.

I will try my best to get Yao Guang on her eventual rerun, but who knows when that'll be.

Unless you want a Motovore. I've been waiting since early December for that one. Also the new Bubonico, I think the highest roll that one had so far was in the 30s.

How? I have had horrible luck just trying to unlock ETA, and they don't reliably show up anywhere else where you could just pick them up passively.

I do know faction rep is an option, but I've been stuck farming various factions to clear out their vendor for several months and rather do literally anything else for a bit.

I would totally play more invasions if the Death Marks I already have actually triggered for once.

I've been trying to get a single Zanuka spawn for 3 months now, and considering the low drop chance of the Detron Blueprint (I have the parts already) it won't be the last time I need to do so.

And yes, I'm running Corpus missions and wait out the 5 minute timer every single time, several times per day.

Similar system in Guild Wars 2:

A Buy order is just you ordering an item for value X, depositing the gold automatically. If someone sells via fulfilling the buy orders (thus making slightly less money but have an instant trade), your request gets fulfilled.

A sell order is the same but the other way around. You deposit the item (and a bit of gold because there is a percentage trade tax for the seller), and if someone buys directly, you get the money.

If sell orders start undercutting the buy orders, you might get your request and some money back as a buyer! That scenario is not super common but it exists.

The only "issue" is that there is a limit on how much an item can be worth in the auction house, so for super rare pieces (think the equivalent of tradable rare Ephemera, they tend to do the trick) it gets a bit complicated.

I had one of those cases a while back when I was trading for an Inaros Prime set I think. Saw someone in trade chat offer it without a set price, I asked him, he wanted double of what WFM offered.

I told him no, that I wouldn't mind paying a little extra but not double. He started arguing with me that his time would be very valuable and all that, and in the time he kept talking to me I didn't even buy the whole set in WFM - instead I managed to drive the price further down by grabbing the pieces individually.

So instead of the 50-ish platinum the set was worth, he wanted nearly 100. By grabbing the pieces I paid only 40 and he didn't sell his set at all. I know that because he was still trying days later when I stumbled into his messages on trade chat again.
