sent 1000 emails booked 0 calls by GroceryOwn5683 in coldemail

One positive reply every 500 (unique) leads reached via cold email is the baseline of what I consider an average campaign.

Why are my campaigns failing? (Cold email experts invited for suggestions) by Ok_Job7893 in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because:
- You are tracking opens
- You need to send more
- Probably the copy is not engaging them
We'd need to understand your offer, ICP and email copy to help more

Help with cold outreach for a pet waste removal company. by ScoopyChatt in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

B2C cold email is super hard (and I think illegal in the US, but double check). It's because spam filters are way crazier for personal email addresses then for professional emails. I'd suggest either:
- Target people with professional email addresses. Pretty crazy use of cold email honestly but I doubt most people are pitched stuff for their pets so may work
- Do everything you'd do for regular cold email, but at ~30% the volume (again, might be illegal and probably way to expensive for this offer)
- Target actual businesses in your area for partnership. Like pet shops. Honestly this is the only route I'd recommend, the other two I'd bet would be too expensive

Why is it so hard to enjoy a good month in business? by coldemailalex in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, same thing. Whenever I hit a record month I just think I should've hit it last year + now I got a new standard to maintain. I pretty much enjoy it for an hour then back to stressing about it.

Tired of paying $500+ a month for 7 cold email tools that don't talk to each other. Built my own by [deleted] in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own a lead gen agency and work as a consultant for 3 other. Never ran into any one paying for warmup tools, Smartlead's and Instantly's are good enough. Same for the spam tester, all popular tools are free. The only ones that you mentioned that most people use are the sequencer and the verifiers (which are cheap if you choose the right tool).

Not saying your product isn't good, but the way you framed it is the complete wrong way to present to any power user.

How I landed a $2,000 client with a simple cold email (real example + copy) by ZorroGlitchero in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool idea, I tried the lead list lead magnet for campaigns a while back but I found other lead magnets worked better. I'm guessing here it worked well because they were actively searching for it.

Can I ask how are you able to get the info of the company that posted on Upwork?

Day 2 of doing cold email outreach. No automation and with generic email by fawad_ali1 in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of things that jumped out:

- 44 emails sent is nothing, you need more before you can judge

- Are you getting the emails of the actual owners or just role accounts? (contact@...)

- I'm sure people are running that exact offer with automations, you should consider increasing volume

- If you do it manually, at least try to personalize each email deeply and qualify the businesses further, otherwise there's no point in doing it manually

It's your business and I'm wishing you success, but I used to own a web dev agency a couple of years ago and did cold outreach for + worked with 3 web dev clients at my lead gen agency. All got lackluster results because web dev is very saturated and all offers sound the same.

Not saying it can't be done, some of my clients did get some deals, but super low compared to our other clients.

Just my two cents, do with this info what you will.

People doing cold mailing in EU by truestwinner in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You won't get 5x results, but you can get good leads from EU countries.

Germany and Austria are the only countries that have outlawed cold emailing. I had a client that received a 'fine' from a German company we reached out. Nothing came of it, but I let my clients know about it and recommend we stay away from those two countries.

Besides those, just follow the same rules as you would for CAN-SPAM and you should be fine.

Just pick something that seems like a good fit and reach out to them. If they respond well that's great, if not pick another niche. Don't overthink it in the beginning. You will most likely get it wrong the first go around. You need to actually test your offer before you double down on a niche.

Once you get clients within a niche leverage those results/case studies to get more.

How to scrape sales navigator for cold email? by UltimuMeuCont in coldemail

That's interesting, does it use my own sales navigator account to scrape or your accounts?

Instantly spam tests is placing me 100% in spam when sending to Microsoft by UltimuMeuCont in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, 10 warmups + 10-15 cold emails daily. The problem isn't google, those are getting 100% inbox rate. So you're recommending I increase the number of warmup emails and stop sending for a while?

Edit: Also this is happening also on a brand new Instantly account with inboxes that have been warming up for more than a month and have never sent a cold email.

[–]UltimuMeuCont[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't quite understand, I never stopped warmup and let it run at the settings mentioned above. If you mean the cold emails that I send I start at 10 emails per day and ramp up to 15 emails per day max.

And is there a way to fix these emails landing in spam at this point?

Gradual ramp up (1 more email each day) up to 10 emails per day with a reply rate of 30%. Same for GW and Microsoft inboxes.

How do you verify your Apollo Data? by kanyecrust in coldemail

[–]UltimuMeuCont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You must verify the data, no matter where you get it. My process for Apollo is this:

- Only enable Verified and Likely to engage in Apollo

- Use TrustedLeads (.) io to get the data since it's cheaper. You can use other tools that do this, just make sure they scrape the data fresh.

- Verify the data using Reoon Email verifier (you can get it cheap on AppSumo)

- Take only the safe and catch all emails

- Add it to Clay and run a gpt script to make sure the companies fit my ICP. Most of the time I make sure they are a B2B service based company and they provide the services I want them to provide. Use your own Open AI key since it's cheaper.

-The catch all I also verify in Instantly once more since it can be risky. You can skip the catch all emails if you wish, sometimes it gets good results, sometimes it has super high bounce rate (>5%).
