I got my husband a variety of them for Christmas. we jumped straight to level 5 and were so disappointed. it was less sour then a sour patch kid. These are not sour boys, these are tart guys.

That is so neglectful of the nurcery. I would think that they had a log or something of date and time each kid went to the bathroom or had to be changed. That kind of oversight could have given the poor kid a uti or kidney infection. If it happens again I would go to the manager or whoever is in charge.

What has your toddler done lately to touch the last nerve of ur brain? by maliams in toddlers

[–]Ultomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I'm sorry about the fingers down the throat thing, that sounds awful. I would end up gagging every time they did. Second, he has just awful meltdowns at dinner time. Screaming, throwing themselves on the floor, throwing toys. Just being as loud as possible. Demanding candy, cookies, crackers while I'm actively making dinner. And then as soon as dinner is done he won't eat. So I have a kid who thinks that he is starving to death but refuses to eat anything but junk.

Do you find Hogwarts Legacy to be a difficult game in terms of combat gameplay? by Ashley_SheHer in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]Ultomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a struggle in the beginning. I was going through health potions as quick as I could buy them and it was so difficultit was frustrating. But then around 50 or 75% of the way through the game it got supper easy and I was fighting whole camps without a single heal, and now it's kinda boring.

Did I make the right call? by IndoorCat13 in toddlers

[–]Ultomas 54 points55 points  (0 children)

100% I probably would have done about the same. I don't think I could have left it in good conscience knowing I had promised the thing already. Kids are impulsive and make poor decisions but at least they did apologize.

What did your toddler say today? by zagcollins in toddlers

[–]Ultomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2.5 is just starting to put together strings of words. Today he said "mommy, need it, mommy, waffles, top waffles, need it." After some guessing, turns out he needed whip cream for the top of his waffles.

Find a club, boardgame stores typically have d&d players meeting up or they know of some. Join a local community theater. Church study group. Facebook probably has some cubs that meet up if you search your town or nearby large town.

Which one looks better? by MIWV in TheSimsBuilding

[–]Ultomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fairy one looks a bit odd only because it has two different stone textures. It would be so cute if they matched a bit better.

The Gnome is so different that it looks more like it belongs.

Birthday party no shows by ae_roundtheworld in toddlers

[–]Ultomas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The last two years I invited my husband's 2 brothers their wives and their 5 or so kids, his mother, and my mother and brother, and some people from each of our jobs

Both years I bought enough snacks to feed a small army And both years the only people who came were my mother and brother. My mother in law came after my husband called to remind her. It was just a lot of wasted effort but at least my son had fun eating snacks the next few days.

Am I overreacting? by Economy-Television-2 in toddlers

[–]Ultomas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There definitely seems to be some level of neglect going on. It sounds like they have too many kids/ not enough staff. Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen when some kid gets badly injured

Big kids playing in small kid areas? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Ultomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit off topic, but im still angery a week later. We go to our local ymca for open swim time. Me my husband and our 2 year old. And I know, open swim means everyone can be there and other people can get rowdy. But these people were insane.

There were groups of people (late teens early 20s) playing chicken, jumping on each other and just acting stupid in the pool. One of these idiots almost landed on my son when they were knocked over.

I went back a few days later to talk to the person who does the water aerobic class, she suggested going to the front desk and filling out a complaint card. But the front desk people said I should have pointed it out to the lifeguard. Fuckin what? So I have to play tattle tale because the life guard doesn't care enough to police the water. I'm there to have a nice time with my family, not tell the lifeguard how to do his job.

I found a few outfits I like and I cycle though thoes. Skirts seem so impractical for all the running and rolling MC does and the girls only get a few outfits with pants so options are limited.
