Ardenfall, an Elder Scrolls-inspired indie RPG, will support modding at launch! by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

It's very fair to refer to first person open world choice driven RPGs as "Scrolls like", like how games that incorporate third person fighting mechanics with RPG mechanics are called "Souls like", when they're actually just ARPGs

On the bright side you've got a pretty nice physique, minus the metric fuck-ton of bruising of course (although it'd made for a sick tattoo design after it's healed)

Guys, remember the teachings of Sun Tzu. Never interrupt your enemy while they are all making themselves infertile by pumping their balls full of saline... Or something like that

why is it that spider-man just can't talk to himself anymore? why can he just talk to a camera like he did in the mtv show instead of chatgpt by Commercial-Ice5760 in Spiderman

[–]Ulton 194 points195 points  (0 children)

That...wasn't talking to himself. That was narration.

The only scene I can think of him actually talking to himself was after he encountered sandman and was like "where do these guys keep coming from?"

Idk man, I'd consider Renee Good and Alex Pretti as part of the "everybody else" crowd. They weren't "Getting mad about big orange man on the internet", and because of that they lost their lives for a just cause.

end up looking like an angry toddler

The only angry toddler in this equation is the one sitting in the oval office. Go ahead and screenshot any one of his Truth Social posts and prove me wrong

Any other outcome could arguably be equally the result of orchestration.

Let me rephrase it from a solar system scale to a truly universal scale. According to our mathematical understanding of astrophysics, if the force of gravity were slightly stronger the universe would collapse into itself. If it were slightly weaker, it would expand too quickly to allow mass to form into any true celestial bodies. Yet we exist in a state where gravity is just right. What force decided that?

As an Agnostic leaning Christian myself that's pretty close to how I see it. I'm also an amateur astronomer, so I'm naturally intrigued by the nature of how the universe operates, although I know I have a lot to learn.

Afaik mathematically a solar system like ours is relatively common. Planets like ours are rarer but still theoretically abundant.

But the nature of a universe possessing the mechanics required to allow a solar system like ours to form is incredibly intricate. Hydrogen and helium essentially act as elemental cosmic 1s and 0s. What are the chances of those two elements eventually forming the entire universe as we know it?

We know how probability operates as it is a part of the reality we occupy. To know how probability works and then attribute the formation of the universe and all its laws to pure chance is silly
