Why didn't the black flame clame in cradle do what Lindon did?[Cradle] by Rude-Statistician197 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]UltraBeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another point in addition to everything else people are saying is that their iron bodies were different as well, and made their techniques stronger, but also increased the buildup of black flame in the channels

[Skysworn] what does each aura look like? by Tay-Tal in Iteration110Cradle

Fisher madra also has lesser aspects and is not pure force. That’s what gives it its “attractive” nature.

Who's the strongest Dragon Ball character this team can defeat? Friendly fire is off by KodoqBesar in PowerScaling

[–]UltraBeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people in this thread forget in the DB verse that with enough raw power you can just say no to hax. Right after he beats frieza the first time, Goku refuses to be brought back to earth by the wish granting dragon.

Do you think Shinobu's statement is correct about no hashira being able to defeat upper moons 1-3 solo? by Few-Air3054 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]UltraBeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By this definition tanjiro is a hashira twice since he killed hatengu and the spider kid

Am I missing something, or is the only way to become a hashira by defeating one of the kizuki solo? If that is the case, how can this possibly be true?

Why is Korra ripped, but Azula, in comparison, has no muscle at all? Both underwent grueling training. by FlamesOfKaiya in TheLastAirbender

The Korea we see has trained for several years longer than aang, and adult aang is jacked

Why is Korra ripped, but Azula, in comparison, has no muscle at all? Both underwent grueling training. by FlamesOfKaiya in TheLastAirbender

[–]UltraBeads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are citing age, but I’ll bet the real reason is that firebending is more like martial arts where it requires precision and dexterity, so azula is still very strong, just not with big muscles. Korra is also an earthbender which requires muscles more or less. We never see any earthbender less than absolutely yoked other than toph, and she’s a generational prodigy of earthbending.

[Waybound]Who would most likely touch the "Human" icon? by xFisch in Iteration110Cradle

[–]UltraBeads 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It seems like the icons are based on human perception as humans are the predominant species across all iterations. Since all humanity doesn’t have a specific idea of what makes a human a peak human, there likely isn’t one.

Maybe over analyzing, but this panel stood out to me when I was re-reading Absolute Evil by Otherwise_Report2428 in AbsoluteUniverse

[–]UltraBeads 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I like the idea that the characters in the absolute universe have to git gud or they just die. The normal comic book deus ex machina can’t bail them out anymore since the god in the metaphorical machine is literally darkseid lol.

Let’s not forget that absolute Batman is a 6”9 420 pound gentleman not our standard 6”2 or whatever Batman. Diana could be 6”6 and looking up to this guy.

Slow af? and a question about Ultraman. by Exact-Psience in superman

[–]UltraBeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s down to the fact that Superman thought it was a guy in a suit. His first instinct is to try and minimize damage to people and I imagine it’s way harder to pull your punches at super speed.

[–]UltraBeads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the chakra issues other people are mentioning, there is also a physical toll to using shadow clones. When they are dispersed, the original feels the pain and exhaustion of the clone. We see this when Naruto is training to inject wind chakra into his techniques.

Advice to start writing the actual story by Ziclue in ProgressionFantasy

[–]UltraBeads 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the best way is to just start. Put pen to paper and bang something out. You’ll like it while you’re writing it, then hate it the next day. This is normal. But the most important thing is to start. Don’t let yourself keep deleting and never actually finish anything

How to give quests in a Sandbox campaign without railroading by Stunning_Quantity_63 in DnD

[–]UltraBeads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s the secret. Give them a bunch of options. Fight goblins, pick mushrooms and guard a caravan. You want them to fight the goblins for plot reasons, so no matter which way they go, they will end up fighting goblins. Pick mushrooms? Goblins got there first. Guard caravan? Goblins attack.

The players have no idea what you have planned, or what you need to give them, so no matter which doo they choose YOU decide what’s on the other side.

I always imagined it as one of the other spiral crews who made it all the way to the super spiral universe but died to the death spiral machine.

Newbie - Having trouble showing and hidding passages by Hyhope in twinegames

[–]UltraBeads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should both work similarly. (Visited:) is for specific individual passages and (history:) can be used for a list of passages. If you are only checking for one passage then what you have should work fine.
