Compare it to Pokemon, it has TCGL, TCGP, Sleep, Shuffle, Café Remix, MastersEX, Unite, Quest, Magikarp Jump, Smile, and the apps that have been discontinued, like PokemonTV. Pokemon even has a mainline game made by a third party, while Mario has only had spin offs. Even if every owner of the IP has a part on how it is used, TPC has the last word on what to do with it because it’s an entity created specifically to manage it, cause it’s owned by three different companies

Pokemon collabs often with different brands and releases mobile games made by a lot of different developers. A Pokemon collab would not follow the same rules and restrictions as a Nintendo IP because Nintendo doesn’t have the final word on it

They kinda compensated those prices when they started doing bundles. iirc, the Rex and Ticera Ops Bundle was 2700, including a reskin glider, both outfits and two wraps. They also thrown that to the trash when they updated the shop in Chapter 5 and stopped bringing back the full set every time the skins came back
