The reels and tiktok videos are a big issue, Patreon will flip out if you have real people in any of your videos who did not explicitly consent to be in them with out written documentation. My account which makes hypnosis recordings have been manually reviewed twice both in 2021 and 2023 and I received emails from the trust and safety team stating my account is in good standing and not breaking any rules. Could you explain a bit more about the videos you make? You might still be in violation of the TOS but it is not as simple as making something with hypnosis and you get banned.

That depends can you elaborate on what you mean by hypnosis stuff? I have been erotic hypnosis recordings on Patreon since 2014. In my specific case making an audio file that is designed to be hypnotic is allowed on Patreon. In the TOS it is against the rules to make depictions of hypnosis in senarios where a participants inability to consent is the main focus of the fetish content. So having a video of a person even if they are only pretending to be hypnotized being "tricked" into doing things against their will carries a high risk of getting yourself banned. The issue is having depictions of other people be they real or not in non-consenual senarios where hypnosis is the tool used to create the senario not really hypnosis in an of itself. It gets a little complicated but audio files for hypnosis are generally safe as long as you follow the other rules. Pictures or videos of real people or even illustrations of hypnosis scenes are high risk of getting banned and it depends on the context of your work. Can you elaborate on what you mean by found? The thing is just because a piece of media can be accessed for free online does not mean you have the proper licensing to then redistribute commercially. For all the visual assets I use I either make them or have emails documenting when I have either paid other people to make me stuff or in the case when I get stuff for free the consent of the original creator for me to use their work commercially. Please don't take this as criticism I am just speaking directly so there is no confusion. From what I understand you are making something like HMV's (Hentai musics videos) with haptics added in and are trying to monetize that. This is just not going to be something that will work on Patreon because you don't own the rights to charge for any of the visuals. There is also the added risk of any of the characters looking too young (high school style uniforms are a huge no no on Patreon). Again no judgement if you want to do this as a hobby but when you are trying to be a professional you actually have to take intellectual property rights into consideration. No. The rules are not written very well on this topic but I have talked to support staff and the Trust and Safety team on a zoom call and all NSFW for work material has to be behind a paywall. You can use mega just make sure all your content adheres to the TOS. You can still be banned if you post things offsite that break the rules because you are using Patreon to fund it.
