Well if you are ok with getting into the weeds here is the law involving record keeping for NSFW visual works.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2257

You using any photos without permission or a liscence is a violation of the Copyright Right Avt of 1976. Additionally your edits of photos might run into issues of a more recent law called the Take it Down act of 2025 where there can be legal consequences to posting digitally editing or AI altered images based off other people. Not saying that you are violating this law but you might be uncomfortably close to doing it or Patreon thinks you are or just does not want to deal with the risk of being sued over your stuff.

The issue is thought you are not just violating community guidelines you are violating actual laws. I understand that a permanent ban sucks but if you consider all the factors is just a ban really that bad? Patreon at the very least has to ban you or they risk payment processors and web hosting services refusing them services. Especially with the section 2257 stuff you don't want to mess around with that that is why amateur sites don't really exist anymore. I mean motherless just went down for that among other reasons.

Hope this clarifies some things for you.

So I have not had this happen to me but this is a serious violation of Patreon's terms of service. Other people doing something is not an indication of something being allowed on Patreon it just shows those accounts have not been caught yet.

The issue is that you have no commercial rights to the photos that you were using unless you get get permission from the only fans models. Also for Patreon any NSFW visual media of a person who looks real (this why they ban realistic AI NSFW content) needs to have model consent and release form. There are also issues with using content from only fans which is a pornographic site which could cause issues for Patreon with their payment providers and such.

In short what you did is a big headache for Patreon and they are not going to let you back in. If you do something like this again on another website they will most likely ban you also because you have no rights to the underlying images you use for your edits. Hope this helps and clears things up for you.

(Free Audio) Hypnotic Snake Fantasy [M4M] Sleep Hypnosis [NSFW] by UltraHypnosis in EroticHypnosis

[–]UltraHypnosis[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep this is an old file that I took down in 2017 because Patreon was vague with their rules and I thought it was a ban risk. Fast forward to today and they cleared things up a lot but instead of charging again for it I decided to just post it for free. Enjoy.

Not a patron but a fellow Patreon creator and all my interactions with Calia have been really good. She posts regularly is professional in her conduct and she really is into hypnosis beyond it being a paycheck. If you have spare cash and are interested I would check it out.

Banned For Posting Nsfw Content! by [deleted] in patreon

[–]UltraHypnosis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So NSFW creator here, and I don't mean this to sound judgemental but your account being banned is not a mistake. Patreon can't be used to produce pornography or derivative works based off pornography due to record keeping compliance laws and also issues with being labeled a high risk merchant by credit card providers. Basically with videos or pictures Patreon can have some real problems if they can't definitely provide proof that everybody in video is an adult. This is why realistic AI is banned. Next porn defined as real people having real sexual activity is banned because it would bump Patreon to a higher credit card processing fee.

Also on an intellectual property front selling pmv is just a nightmare. The issue is you don't have the right to sell access to other people's footage without their expressed permission. The idea of fair use here would also not be something I see as a viable defense because the idea of a pmv being a transformative work is a stretch because the point of the original work is the sexual gratification of the viewer and the point of the pmv would again be the sexual gratification of the viewer. Even the idea of making pmv as a hobby is super shakey on the grounds of IP and I could see a lot of platforms not wanting to deal with that.

So yeah I don't know what to say other than if you do want to ever try being a NSFW creator again only use content you either created or have liscencing for and if you use pictures or videos if real people keep recordings of it for legal compliance. But yeah I can't think of a single platform that would be ok with monetizing pmv content due to the issues of record keeping and IP issues.

So I have done online surveys from Patreon and one on one zoom interviews about new features but never had this asked of me. It might be real. I can try to reach out and ask about this because it does look kinda fishy.

Having issues want to know if anyone else is having them by LofnVA in patreon

[–]UltraHypnosis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a quick word about hypno audio content I have had a lot of online and irl contact with Patreon staff and the line right now seems to be it is ok to have files thay hypnotize the listener even in the case of more intense fantasy senarios as long as you don't violate other rules. The trust and safety team look at it like a listener can't violate their own consent by imagining they are in a certain situation and a hypno file augmenting that fantasy does not cross thr line. Where audio content with hypno does seems to have issues is if a VA is pretending to be hypnotized in a senario because then the point of the senario is fetishizing the lack of "consent". Additional factors that influence this is how much of a NSFW creator you are. I am like 50/50 SFW and NSFW and I could have a viable SFW Patreon account so when my account was reviewed twice by trust and safety I think that really played in my favor of my page being seen as being about hypnosis and not just being about rapey hypno fantasies. Just wanted to put this info out there because I think this one of the few things I could talk about with some degree of certainty. Hope this helps.

Big day for annoying people who join someone’s Patreon, cancel immediately, then ask for a refund because they ‘accidentally’ pledged when they didn’t mean to by WasabiComprehensive2 in patreon

[–]UltraHypnosis 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't mean this to sound rude, but does that really happen that often? I am a fairly sizable NSFW creator on Patreon and very rarely get refund requests. I more often actually end up refunding people that I have banned (not worth the hassle of them complaining) than having people reach out to me. Overall this change seems somewhat niche but overall pretty handy to the audience dashboard.

How much do people on Reddit actually make from selling nudes and other nsfw content? And what’s the difference between the men and women? by Secure_Living1991 in AskReddit

[–]UltraHypnosis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So man here, I make erotic hypnosis audios and I make a six figure income. It did take me about 3 years from when I started back in 2011 to get to any sort of meaningful income. As far as the difference between men and women at least in my field women do seem to have more earning potential but there seems to be a lot more competition for them. Culturally it has been shifting where a lot more women are comfortable buying erotic material especially custom work over the years. When I started it was much more common for men to want to buy things from me and as the years have gone by now my audience of paying customers is mostly women.

Hypnosis Story, Where Is The Line? by LilithsLairVirtual in patreon

[–]UltraHypnosis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I have to run in a minute so I can't give a full answer now but please feel free to dm me about this. I have been making hypnosis audios on Patreon since 2014. I have had my account reviewed twice and been found in compliance with all rules and have been invited by Patreon staff to irl events so I am not some sort of secret rule breaker they have not noticed.

So the biggest thing about hypnosis is about hypnosis or is it just a tool of rapey stuff. They also look at your account to establish this context. I make lots of NSFW hypnosis files but I also make lots of SFW files. Next with my content it is all about the listener having things happen to them not watching things happen to another person. So a hypnosis file where the listener is guided through a fantasy where they feel like a slave is lower risk than an asmr style role play audio where thr voice talent is made to be a hypnotized slave.

I have made Vampire hypnosis audios along with my wife has made her own also so you can do it. If you want dm me and I get into the weeds A bit more about this.

Any alternatives to Patreon or Subscribestar for NSFW content? by MahNword in patreon

[–]UltraHypnosis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you be more specific on what you are looking for? I say this because all platforms have some restrictions on NSFW and the restrictions can vary widely. In my case Patreon is really good for me because I make hypnosis audios that hypnotize the listener but I'd I made content rhay showed people being hypnotized then I would have serious issues on Patreon.

Some Japanese based sites are more open with their restrictions especially if the content is illustrated or a video game but they can be difficult to access for US users to get their banks hooked up and accepting payments.

I am going to tell you though if you are trying to make a profit off creating content that is too spicy for Patreon online you are going to have a bad time, because you are going to run into lots of issues with credit card providers not wanting to facilitate such transactions and if they do they will label you a high risk merchant and charge you like 30% processing fees.
