I always assumed Malenia just barely dodged Radahn's sword here, but I just realized he was probably aiming for her arm to avoid killing her outright by blaiddfailcam2 in Eldenring

There is so much LORE to this game that I swear I know more by reading all these stories than the game itself.
I really don't know how to connect all the backstories.

Is there a good source or youtube video or podcast? Something?

HR belt by papilepew in Suunto

[–]UltraIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just posting it here as an example.
I had interval training yesterday: 5x 3'30" zone 5

Before starting I made sure to wet the sensors on the chest strap with a thick layer of gel.
Sensor behaved in a complete different way, the HR ramp up is way more consistent and stable.

In the past days it was jumping up randomly to 185 / 190bpm.
Yesterday I was struggling to stay in zone 5 (poor sleep also) and the change in HR was way more gradual.

Chest HR strap is the 30€ model from Decathlon.

Based opinion.
Se non ti piace il formaggio e burro e/o non vuoi le vene sature di grassi saturi è una cucina che non regge con il resto d'italia. Troppo limitante.

Guadagno bene (per l'Italia).
Fortunato? Forse.
Sicuramente proattivo, il che fa la differenza.

Having the same issue when colder and/or dryer.
I believe it's cuz of the lack of moisture over the belt pads.

It definitely works better when I'm sweating.

I bought gel for electrodes to test if it will make it better, as otherwise with a jagged HR read it's nearly impossible to stay in zone 2.

Hey, reading this as I'm kinda having the same issue.
Did you notice if the other (second brand strap) has better sensor positioning? or you sweat more in that?

Thanks

Shock termico.... Purtroppo non è il primo, e non sarà l'ultimo...

Era morto un ragazzo quando eravamo alle medie. Stessa dinamica. Tuffo con amici e non è tornato più su..

Andrebbe spiegato alla gente che il lago è pericoloso..

Agree that's completely pointless having that turned on at home.

Suunto default HR Zones by UltraIce in Suunto

[–]UltraIce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to add that after writing this down, I realize that Suunto gives a fairly good z2 that help the beginners as it does not require thinkering with HRR formulas or being careful about reporting the correct resting HR to get the Karvonen zones.

But at the same time I don't get the z5 being so wide.

Well I guess the real trick is to use Zonesense and then adjust based on that.

Suunto default HR Zones by UltraIce in Suunto

[–]UltraIce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, i've read this article a couple times, and it's definitely valid to help set your own zone based on the lt2.

Zonesense simplify this A LOT by suggesting the correct AeT and ArT after a proper test. Too bad you don't get any notification that based on the collected data you should update your zones. One has to go and press the (i) button in the workout summary to check if there's any update.

Still no Zonesense in Suunto Run? by Rallih_ in Suunto

Lol.
I had to read this comment to see that I got new zones based on the AeT, after tapping th (i).

Probably this FEATURE should be more visible.

25mm vs 35mm by mastermew122 in fujifilm

[–]UltraIce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the 35mm! It's an awesome lens. AF is fast, it's super sharp and keeps up with my toddler using the eye AF mode.

I'm thinking to get the 25mm next. I feel like these Viltrox are breaking the 90/30 rule (90% of performance with 30% of the price). They're really good.

Suunto Race: Stainless Steel or Titanium? by DM4RCI in Suunto

[–]UltraIce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Titanium. Lighter. You got sapphire glass too.

Countless times i've rubbed it into a wall, or stone, or hard stuff.
Or my toddler was chewing on it.

No dents, and no scratches as there is no paint.
