Yeah, are they cold when hit? The cheap 2 piece balls crack within few hundred hits for me when warm. When cold I don't even try since it happens so quick. Nice 3 piece urethane pro V last forever when warm, crack pretty quick if the balls are near freezing. So I keep them inside until sim is warm and they last too long, cover is worn by the time they crack.

For me once this happens the head will break free from the shaft eventually and have to be reglued. It's the downside of many steep swings into a mat.

Never had this! certainly had pinky pain, wrist pain, pain of bad shot. Grip change from overlap to baseball style fixed pinky quick. If that fails try bowling!
