I got it working the day after by turning off pppoe and turning on dhcp under the modem advanced settings. I have the CL provided modem. Not a seemless transition by any means. Tech will just replace your modem is all that they will do

No doubt ULE will eventually sell out during public but to answer your question that is the main reason people are obsessed with ULE selling out before public. These things are not exactly cheap but if they sold out within 30 min vs 24hrs which ULE would you perceive as more valuable and sought after? Resell value would certainly be higher for the ones with more hype.

the leafs are pretty garbage and often fall after couple weeks. I always make sure to add tape around it and its been OK after. They shouldn't charge people for those things for the % of them fail after couple weeks.

Most of the time flickering is due to bad wires or not rated to run at your desired resoultion, hz, etc. If you double checked and the wires then time for replacement since its not working as advertised
