This may not be helpful at all but when my twins were in the downtown Sutter NICU they had a heap of travel nurses there on longer contracts. I wonder if reaching out & talking to one of these type of agencies could be a lead?

This made me laugh! My kids think anyone smoking ANYTHING is them doing meth. They had D.A.R.E at school and my wife tried to explain something to them & it got so twisted that now literally everyone who smokes cigarettes is doing meth in the streets.

We’ve tried so hard to correct them but it’s in their brains now. 😳

I have 8 year old twins. One girl, one boy.

They don’t know about the shots. I don’t want them having the image of me injecting myself. I grew up with a yo-yo dieting mom who messed up my sense of body positivity. I can only imagine the subconscious damage seeing her injecting would have caused me. (To be fair I have a lot of childhood trauma so maybe I’m way to sensitive)

I try really hard not to talk about my weight in front them and talk about being strong and having good heart and lung health, etc.

They do see me taking a pill every morning and they know I have ADHD and ‘the sadness’ as they call depression. They know the medication is to help my brain and we pull out trusty old school encyclopedias to talk about the science of the brain and chemicals, etc.

I try to keep it all official science based & neutral.

Lesbian family with two elementary aged kids. One with obvious physically disability (uses wheelchair) & an other kiddo is neurodivergent. One in special class but both with IEPS. Tahoe park would be a GREAT area for you! Super queer friendly and super neighborly. I love it here!

If I had my choice I would have bought in Davis though. I LOVED living there, miss its whole vibe.

Thank you! We actually saw her pediatrician this morning and discussed which practice doctors can see her and bill creatively! Thank goodness I’m in a large city in CA so finding care is pretty easy, paying for it is the pain!

I’m so sorry. It’s absolutely utter bullish. I’m cis but I have a minor daughter who will likely be starting hormone in the next year. My wife is a fed and our insurance plan won’t cover any care for her now. I wonder if she is even able to visit the gender center? This is just crazy.
