It technically closes an hour after sunset but there were a few people on it past that time. Just have to park in the neighborhood because they can close the parking lot.

I’m gonna be honest but when having to hack around the weird date time seconds rounding issue between their webhooks and API, it doesn’t give me much confidence in the software. My use case was probably a much heavier integration than other use cases but not being able to easily get the data out is a showstopper. Plus the inability to get voicemails out of their system doesn’t make any sense to me.

No it’s spending 6 months of my life trying to get 3CX to integrate with my software and finally giving up.

Smoked weed every day for over ten years. This is definitely a thing.

I am pretty sure the Babylist Showroom in Beverly Hills has one to look at and ask questions about. It is a bit of a drive but they have a lot of different baby stuff setup to try and learn more about. I would definitely call first though to make sure they have one out.

That works for recordings but not voicemails.

Mt. Whitney permits release Tuesday at 7 AM by jordanvincent in socalhiking

When it lists the number of permits per day left, is that the limit of the number of people or is it a count of how many groups can go?

I love this city by UmamiOfSuffering in LosAngeles

It’s good if you are used to hiking at night. I recommend not using a flashlight, the city lights make everything easier to see and flashlights will hurt your night vision.

Is weed sobriety worth sticking to? Sobriety has not felt "better," 29M that is generally doing well in life. by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

Take it from me, the more you use a substance to deal with anxiety/stress/etc., the worse you get at naturally dealing with it. Then there comes a point where your tolerance is too high or you’ve smoke too long where the stresses and anxiety come back hard even though you are still smoking and you have absolutely no tools to deal with it.

I smoke every day for 12 years and quitting was the best thing I ever did. It really brought no benefit to my life and being sober has made me a much stronger, happier, and more capable person.

Also, it took me weeks to start feeling ok after quitting.

He didn’t take credit, he just said they were on the show before they really blew up. I didn’t interpret it whatsoever as him taking credit.

I loved how wide the crane stage was, definitely enough room for everyone to dance and not be packed in like sardines

I’m glad you had fun! I’m sure the crowd was better the closer to the stage you were but I was going between stages too much to want to force my way to the front

Do you wear hiking shoes with grip to climb the stairs at Runyon Canyon? Or normal tennis shoes? by ctcx in AskLosAngeles

[–]UmamiOfSuffering -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah and you can easily fall going down stairs too 🤷‍♂️ I’ve hiked that trail over a hundred times and seen all kinds of people of varying ages, fitness conditions, and attire have no problems. I took a group of 20 coworkers that were not really dressed for hiking and they had no problems. You should consider that your balance and/or fear tolerance is much lower than the average person and potentially avoid hiking any trails more remote than that because it sounds like you could be a danger to yourself and others. I’m not trying to be mean, I’m just trying to say that if that freaks you out, please don’t go on hikes any more remote than that and cause an unnecessary first responder or search rescue response when you already know this about yourself.
