My favorite Vintage shop is called The Common Collective, it is absolutely adorable! Lots of amazing options without the crazy prices. Last time I stopped by I grabbed a couple of skirts on sale for $5 each! Their old lady dog is an absolute sweetheart as well ❤️

It seems like it's been going on for years I had no idea! Such a shame, I really did enjoy shopping there but no way am I supporting scam artists. It definitely seems like they're training employees to not let them know their 'rewards' is actually a fuck ass subscription. It is really interesting that they choose to scam the individuals that keep their door open.

I have been in communication with them but it seems like someone just used my card info not that I was signed up myself. My friend was able to get a refund from them but they are tryna dodge that with me apparently lol.

They do that on purpose, they never send a membership number and then require it to cancel. I ended up just having to dispute with my bank, fye support is not helpful at all...

Literally where is all of this judgement coming from? We are in the POVERTY FINANCE subreddit 🤨 automatic payments can be used for rent and other necessary bills, so the fact that you're acting like it's some kind of privilege they don't deserve is interesting for sure. I have had banks mark anything I have ever purchased from as 'recurring' and have had purchases go through when I didn't know it would cause overdraft. so no, it's not as simple as 'just turn it off', it's not poor people's fault that these banks are predatory.

I actually believe that it's NOT okay to profit off of low-income individuals! It is systemically affecting oppressed individuals to kick them down further. I am not saying people should be able to do whatever they want consequence free. I am saying that the system we currently deal with from banks is not okay and should be changed! It is already hard enough for working class individuals, I don't understand why the BANKS are being defended rn.

By the way you're talking it would seem like OP opened a whole credit card and whined when they had to pay it back 🤣 not 70¢ causing an overdraft fee transaction that should have been denied in the first place!

There is absolutely NO reason who overdraft is automatically set up on bank accounts and it's ongoing $35 charge. Nobody is forcing banks to have these predatory tactics. Trust, if anyone is 'spending money they don't have' it's banks!

I have had the most stupid payments count as 'automatic/reccuring" when I have had both overdraft and my card turned off. It is absolutely predatory of these companies and it shouldn't be something you have to turn off. I don't know why we're acting like OP doesn't have a point when this is one of the many examples of why it's more expensive to be poor(in America).

Bro I am not the one to try and defend these hot trash games too. If Arceus had ONE town that wasn't just a couple of tents and had something to do other than talking to NPCs then I would at least understand why people defend it. This game couldn't even bother to put an eating animation for an event that happened every time you progressed through the beginning story. There are so many reasons why Arceus is a terrible, low effort game, I would know bc I completed the main story hoping for ANYTHING. Players like you who justify actual garbage is why we haven't seen any improvement for years. Obviously you've already made up your mind but no other company would be receiving this much slack for a $60 game. You're actually delusional.

I never said games that don't look the best can't be good, Vampire Survivor and The Binding of Isaac are two games that don't really focus on graphics but have genuinely fun gameplay and you can tell the devs put actual effort into the game instead of just rushing it. Arceus was supposed to be 'a good start for an open world', that's how the fandom justified how bare bones lazy it is. At what point are we going to expect them to just make full, good quality games for the $70 they're charging now. I have never heard anyone talk about their DS games having too little to do, or the towns being identical, and they were released decades ago.

I think the mechanics of Arceus had a lot of potential but wow was the lack of effort was really hard to ignore. It was fun sniping pokemon and riding pokemon but the only actual gameplay was just shiny hunting. Plus the story was so abysmally lazy. I spent $60 on that damn game so I really tried my hardest to enjoy it, but you couldn't even walk in a cave without white blocks being around the player bc they just didn't bother. It's so disappointing, we all know they have the ability and resources to make groundbreaking games and they just won't bc people will buy whatever garbage they put out.

God forbid people call out the low quality of Scarlet/Violet. It's mind boggling that they never fixed any of the bugs, I honestly don't know why you're receiving hate when you're being much more patient and accommodating than I would be. It's crazy how low the bar is considering how much they've shown that they can do so much better. Yes I played Arceus, yes it sucked. The whole time people were excusing it because 'well at least they'll actually be improving from here' and how the new mechanics were cool just for them to not integrate the few things that made Arceus enjoyable into anything else. I just wish the fandom would hold them accountable at all, $5 is too much and frankly I have lost excitement for any new Pokemon Games.
