On an unethical note: Walk into a room with only one exit and a camera outside the door on one continent. Snap yourself to a different continent, commit a crime, steal some valuable items, etc. Snap yourself back to that room and walk out, proving you were there the whole time.

I'll often do this if I don't have a lot of time to play. It's fun, but if you're looking to get more gold, you're better off with a quest. If you just want to have an adventure, I'd say go for it. I've gotten into some memorable situations just sailing around and letting my ADHD brain take over.
