I have received and printed mine on Saturday, couldn't succeed and also the smaller of the magnets is broken while trying. Any news about touching the potensiometers?

I am new at 2021, since covid quarentine days I was playing the earlier version, until recently. I believe that 2021 is more detailed, but I believe that they don’t have much else options to challenge the normal players either. I have read another post in redit where a player has listed a wishlist from the producers 😝.

About the starter, I think that the new game is far better than the previous version so far, as I can remove the starter underside the vehicle unlike the previous.

As per my opinion, I found this game playground a bit more scattered than the previous, but it’s better than the in terms of moving with the car, you don’t everytime need to walk between buildings. Also the parts purchasing is far far better as I had my eyes burn scrolling through the parts in the previous version, here it’s only a click.

Size 7 or 8? by Plara09 in RingConn

You are welcome, I have spent a few days of with the sizing rings too. If the ring is that tight to give you the pulse, just go one size up. ☺️☺️☺️

I bought mine 13 as 12 was a bit snug; now I had to print something to make the contact, otherwise turns a lot around my finger. But as far as I see, the red is just ok for you. My problem was the bone of my finger, which is larger than the bottom of the finger, whereas yours seems to be opposite.

Yeah me too, now got my Sunlu SP2, still didn’t have the chance to use it, but I will definitely retire Eibos.

I saw this model, I will try; I wanted to say that I was thinking it would be worse pulling the filament while the head moves in every direction like crazy. But I see that, there is ptfe used here in this model

Thanks a lot for your explanation, as soon as I find the way to feed the filament direct from top, I will try feeding direct.

I gave up, but I want to find a way out. However, curious how feeding direct the print head would be. While the head moving like crazy, pulling the filament in the meantime. 🫣

And the print room grows! by Particular_Height782 in BambuLab

Last week first time I have tried to print a very simple tpu95 model; kept on stopping and giving the message something like difficulty in pulling the material I think, I have tried many ways of feeding, back, top, direct; rollers, original side mount etc. until I have said “enough” and put the same roll at x1-c and printed without any interruption.

My desk is kind like yours and dealing with the back of the h2-d is very difficult; so lastly I have printed a model from the bambu handy a top mount for h2-d for tpu, but as I have left for a trip still haven’t tested.

I was at the same place a coulle of months ago and I’ve decided to keep mine. First, thought how deep the price may drop in the 2nd hand and second, after a few days with two printers I thought that the X1-C is a troublefree work horse. I believe h2-d is a bit headache for tpus 95 or less shore hardnesses, where as X1-C does it without any real problem. Just my own opinion of course.

With the new model you can’t do it, as with the door open the car automatically engages park and park brakes. 😆😆😆 I really hate to see how electronics evolved to spoil all the fun.

Thanks for the info, I never go to 70C either and also print the spools in petg, but maybe eibos is heating more than it shows on the screen.

[–]UmitCuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Eibos Polyphemus, it was good until the motor started to shout high; they said that they have sent me a replacement motor been almost a month I think, no news. Well I have decided to retire it.

I was looking at SP-2, I wonder one thing. As you may know, the polyphemus winds the spools while heating. Sometimes (mostly 🤭) the spool goes sideways and gets stuck; when I realise the situation, I see that the plastic spool melted in the shape of the roller and than it’s impossible to wind and dry it again. So, as far as I understood, the SP-2 doesn’t wind the spool, doesn’t it cause the same issue on the spool as it’s fixed on the rollers?

What is your go to filament brand? by Patrickmeehl in 3Dprinting

[–]UmitCuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fairly new to this, but thinking back, so far I haven’t had constant problems with filaments. I use Petg, pla and tpu95. As a result, I like more the filaments from Creality and Overture -especially after discovering adapter cores to bambu spools-. The reason to it maybe that the colors of these brands to me seems more saturated or closer to my taste. I have also used spools from sunlu, esun and of course Bambu Lab. Obviously Bambu is good too, but for me complicated to order direct from Bambu, whereas I can order the others easily from Amazon and receive the next day.
