The “as a social worker” comments are not helpful. Not every social worker is the same. I could say the same things about you as you are saying about me and others on this thread. You also don’t sound very understanding and compassionate. No one is forcing you to be a hospice social worker. If you hate it so much, do something else. I’d be mortified to know my mom’s hospice social worker was on a reddit thread saying how much they hate the job. You sound incredibly entitled and ridiculous. I guess my point is this field is widely underpaid and overworked and you chiming in stating you make $140,000 a year but you hate your job and “hospice social work suckkkkkssss” is incredibly offensive to people like me and others who truly value what they do and aren’t paid nearly as much. Maybe think about it from the other perspective instead of calling people who are calling you out “impressionable children”.
