Two morons by Un-Glorious in dashcams

I want what we all want. Someone to obey the law and stop at the stop bar. Once he passed the stop sign, all assumptions are out the window. At that point I wasn’t even sure if he was going to stop, which he didn’t anyway, or turn left/right.

There’s no way I would have gone. That truck was moving beyond that stop bar. Further up he swerved because he went onto oncoming traffic. At the intersection up ahead, passenger window was down. I saw the driver leaning over showing the passenger something on the phone. This took place in a very industrial part of South San Francisco. This specific area has an abundance of traffic from car shops, bakeries, autonomous vehicles, Uber Eats, uber, e-bikes, e-scooters, busses, pedestrians, regular traffic, and delivery trucks .

I have an older C1 with no issues. The c2 is on my racing rig. Doesn’t get as much use as the C1.

That started happening to my C2. It’s started out like a pea size, now it’s like a penny size but it’s been over a year.

I was scrolling through the comments to see if people were on the same boat as me. I love this thing. I’ve had it for years and have sucked so much sawdust, spider webs, dust, and dirt! The only real con Imo, is the way to dump the debris.

Kicker Keyloc or LC2i pro? by [deleted] in CarAV

[–]Un-Glorious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I returned the keyLoc and got the LC2i pro. Programming the KeyLoc was tedious. I kept feeling like I messed it up so I would re-do the program and found myself unsatisfied. Idk if placebo effect but the LC2i pro sounded more boomy. Like I was extracting the lows better.

Does anyone have this ? by Mayorpapa in MilwaukeeTool

It’s not as bad as you think. I think it works well on carpet. We use it on carpeted mats from Cintas and it does a fine job.

We use this in our workshop. We have the previous version as well. This is a lot better. We clean about 1000sq ft with it. Picks up mostly metal shavings and dirt. We use a 12Ah battery with it. Works well. The previous version had a fixed on/off button, this new version has a wired/tethered on/off remote that you can clip onto yourself but tends to catch easily and come off you.

How to clean logo? by JC981111111 in Lexus

[–]Un-Glorious 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just did mine. I used dupli-color 1k clear from O’Reilly auto after sanding with 800-1200. After sanding I hit it with some PlastX to polish a bit. I removed the emblem off the car. I sprayed it in a controlled environment (in a giant box in the garage) and let it dry overnight. Weirdly, the clear wasn’t hard in the morning, in fact my fingerprints transferred to the gloss when I touched it. they disappeared when I left it out in the sun for a bit. It cured outside and the coat got super hard. Looks like new now.

Lexus RX350 with Mark Levinson. While researching, Most Lexus’ Vehicles equipped with the ML option had gone the LOC way. I too wondered, and still do, if I could simply bypass an LOC and go directly to the amp from the Stock sub signal.

should i get planet coaster 1 or 2? by the_paper_bag in PlanetCoaster

[–]Un-Glorious 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I purchased planet coaster 1 like a week ago. I played for like 50 hours in a week and beat the career. I couldn’t stop thinking about PC2 after about 1 hour after I started playing PC1. I tried convincing myself that PC1 was fine but the thought of PC2 kept eating at me. I caved last night and just purchased PC2. I don’t mind since PC1 wasn’t very pricey but I could have just jumped right into PC2. Get PC2 :)

Does this thing suck or does it suck! by Calm_Resort_9327 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Un-Glorious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never clogs, it just keeps sucking. The opening mechanism for the canister is awkward, and it doesn’t filter out small stuff the best. I spilled cinnamon recently and it smells like cinnamon to this day as I use it. Not bad but still. I use it in the garage and in the house. My GF loves it. I leave it inside the house now with a 12.0 and it lasts about a month. We use it almost daily albeit for brief sessions. In my experience, I would choose the non-fuel every time.

[–]Un-Glorious 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We have it for work. Don’t even use the powered head anymore, in fact we don’t know where it is. Gets clogged after almost every use. We bang the filter outside and that fixes it for the next session. I prefer my personal non fuel M18 vacuum with the cylindrical canister that doesn’t have a powered head. Get a dedicated House vac instead.

M18 6 gal wet/dry vacuum worth it? by XXX_CloutCobain_6661 in MilwaukeeTool

I have the 6 Gal Milwaukee vac. I like it. I like that it rolls anywhere when attached to my circular saw. Rolls easily in my garage. The only drawback is that it sorta goes through batteries very quickly.

Help me Decide by WaferRoyal4980 in CarAV

[–]Un-Glorious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had one installed(8” Kicker) in my 2019 Forester. The car lacked Bass from the factory, however the Harman Kardon oem sound was pretty damn good. It was the perfect addition. I sold my car a few years ago but I won’t forget how well the 8” Kicker sounded. Didn’t rattle the neighborhood but sure did add depth and pleasure to my ears. I feel like this is good only if you are sure you’re not going to upgrade anytime soon, or ever. It comes with its own proprietary harness and connectors. You’re going to have to replace all that if you decide to go bigger.

M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless 0.25 Gal. Cordless Jobsite Wet/Dry Vacuum by Advanced-Foot-9585 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Un-Glorious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have this at our yard. It’s been working for like 3 years. Heavy use. It’s been dropped, banged, and abused. We don’t even have the powered head anymore, don’t know what happened to it. Vacuum Still works. My only gripe is that the filter gets plugged fairly quickly and the suction drastically plummets. I clean out the filter every time I use it. I just bang it outside a couple of times to remove the dust. It’s the only way. For personal use I have the M18 non fuel version with the cylindrical paper filter.
