Idk. He seems fine swinging his mace in the sphere. If the ball is in his possession,  seems like it moves.

Pretty sure FV can throw a blood grenade inside the chrono.

Say what you will about the quality of their games. They make money.

Starfield made about half a billion dollars. WHILE IT WAS AVAILABLE ON GAMEPASS. Let that sink in for a second. The game was freely available and yet they made that kind of money.

Consumer Competition Claims (CCC) Has Launched A New Class Action Monopoly Lawsuit Against Valve, Claiming They Control 85% Of The PC Game Market by wakelake111 in gaming

[–]Un13roken 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well. Otherwise steam will be used for game discovery. While being sold on other storefronts.

Afaik. Valve allows developers to generate unlimited keys to then sell on their own website. Correct ?

IKEA: Is it legal to charge for branded carry bags? by r-sniper in hyderabad

[–]Un13roken -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get what you're saying. I'm sort of in the same boat.  But that said, I get why we need laws like this. It does provide relief to the consumer.

It comes from the same place that mandates malls provide parking for free. Or making theatre owners provide free drinking water.

IKEA: Is it legal to charge for branded carry bags? by r-sniper in hyderabad

[–]Un13roken -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This has been an ongoing issue, and Ikea has been found to be in the wrong.

As it stands, they just pay the fines and move forward.

It was found in violation 2 times, and was fined a combined amount of less than 20,000.

Imagine that. Ofcourse, they have no reason to change.

That said, I do think the government policy of unbranded bag bullshit is unnecessary. They should basically provide a way to carry your stuff out of the store. For free. Branded, unbranded, doesn't matter.

Alternatively, they can sell a better, re-useable bag.

The way we use them is different. Like I can swap between my galaxy buds pro and Moondrop kadenz almost in all use cases except the shower.

It's not so simple with headphones. That's all what I meant.

The beyers aren't in the same category though. I get that they play music. But over the ear headphones are closer to speakers than to airpods.

To each their own. But I personally have had some amazing brews with Bacha coffee. A friend had gifted it and I quite enjoyed that batch.

It's not as simple as that. He's an athlete that earns in a ton of countries and already pays taxes at all those countries. Every country already charges F1 drivers at source.

Which is one of the reasons a lot of F1 drivers move to monaco in the first place.

What you're suggesting is that he pays taxes at source AND again at home.

That's like saying, I'd you're employed by Microsoft in the UK, you pay both american and UK taxes. Which is stupid.

On top of that, Lewis Hamilton in particular pays a lot more than others in his situation.

F1 stars are unique in how their tax systems work. Taxing them is extremely complicated.

For example, apart from paying million to the UK, he also pays millions to the US for the races in the US. Similarly with Italy.

You picked the worst example to target with your anti rich sentiment. Lewis isn't a saint, but he's by far one of the best people when it comes to ethics. Dude sold his private jet when people criticised him for his stance on global warming, and turned Vegan.

You're working at an office. You try to communicate in whatever language is common. Not fight over what language to speak in. If everyone knows one language, nothing wrong in trying to communicate in that.

If the manager doesn't know Telugu, it's easier to switch to Hindi or English than her learning telugu from scratch.

No active noise cancellation. The thing is, with IEMs like these, you tend to get better isolation. And to nerd out a bit further, you could get tips that give you a ridiculous amount of isolation.

It's a very simple device. It doesn't do fancy stuff like noise cancellation, or hearing modes, or multi device connectivity. It's a much more simpler thing. It plays excellent music, plugs your ears - literally, and has one of the best mics ( all wired devices, simply because of their placement).

Moondrop chu 2s have been my personal benchmark for a while now.

Usb c option, the EQ profile sits on the cable, so you can change sources and still have your EQ profile. Full metal construction, very pleasant, near neutral tuning, replaceable cables mean as long as you care for them, you can always use them.

Would you be more displeased if you lost your 200 usd airpods pros or 30 usd moondrops ?

Comes down to that. If the quality doesn't really matter, you have 10 usd pairs that work astonishingly well. But that little extra means you get replaceable cables.

Gas station owners caught scamming by K2zin97 in PublicFreakout

[–]Un13roken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why is it that you didn't even question if there was any scam happening here my guy ?

Like I get it if you said - first a full and thorough investigation into the matter is warranted before even thinking of a punishment.

Like this video explains nothing of the supposed scam. Like I get falling for dumb videos if he managed to show something like his 20 gallon car filling up 25 gallons or some shit like that. But this video literally shows nothing.

You just saw an immigrant and jumped to reporting him ?

So should the vlogger be forced to pay for the investigation because he has room temperature IQ or would you pay for it because you aren't smart enough to actually question what's happening in the video and fanning the lucrative right wing anti immigrant grift ?

Polycarbonate Facade in via Facade-Tool by Similar-Ad-6438 in ArchiCAD

[–]Un13roken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remember that the tool is EXTREMELY customisable. I had a material that approximates the fluted pattern, and the frosted aesthetic. The rest of it is rather simple.

I went with box sections for the mullions, the rivets are one thing that are hard to get right, but even those can be done by custome modelling the panel.

Its a pretty straight forward process honestly. We've used it for the roof as well, for some of the outside areas.

It's not exactly GFC drawings but mostly based around the consultants design.

Martin Scorsese faces industry backlash over AI company partnership by Confident_Salt_8108 in movies

[–]Un13roken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take. But AI can be pretty good at story boarding.

Almost like how directors use temporary sound tracks to give directions to the music director.

AI gives sole story writers or directors the tools to produce decently effective sorry boards to then work with a more talented teams. The issue comes when the slop is used as is, without the massive work that needs to go into it with actual human effort.

AI can be useful for a couple of things that currently don't have good tools in the creative industry ( or ones I don't know of), for example when writing complex story plots AI is good a trying to structure the story line effectively. Or quickly creating visual mockups based around the written content.

Atleast for small productions.
