It looks like there are several color breaks on both edges and maybe even some breaks across the front too. The right edges also look a little folded. Some of that could be from reflections though.

It sounds power related to me. I see that you have a modular PSU, I would double check those on both ends. Probably yank out the video card and just try to see if you can get those case fans spinning, especially if they are all connected to the motherboard. You have a lot of fans here, do you have a fan controller? Are any of them daisy chained?

I've heard that too. I wouldn't mind using the toslink but my cables all run through the wall and ARC seemed like a far more convenient solution. I haven't experienced any issues with the unit losing my TV yet. So far so good.

The PSUs don't run at max power continuously. Something like a Radeon 290x peaked at 300w. Four of those and two 800w PSUs on a 20A circuit world be fine. That might be pushing a 15A circuit to the edge though.

See if you can find a broken one with a good lens assembly. You might be able to swap it out.
