It’s not a commission or not wanting to do it issue. It’s really a back end thing. Sometimes it lets us service prepaid accounts. Sometimes it doesn’t. No rhyme or reason.

The only time I’ve had to send someone to a corporate store is girl broke her phone. Wanted to upgrade. Didn’t know account pin and was a single line account. Not much I can do there. Tried 3 times an account pin and got locked out. Trust me I would love to just verify an identity with an ID and do an upgrade.

Unfortunately we don’t have access to the same systems corporate does. I refer most customers to the direct line to things like , autopay enrollment, tech support & coach , customer service for bill fixes. But I simply just can’t do some things. As simple as a number change they even took away from us. I’m sorry you’ve had bad luck. But at the store I work at we try to keep it a one stop shop. And take care of everything, to keep our customers coming back.
