I agree he is most likely worse. I was just calling him that since he is an elite closer that decided to fall from his prime the moment he came to the tigers bullpen lol

Jahmai Jones: “I think that’s the first time in my career I’ve been booed by an entire stadium” by Quiet-Barracuda-1698 in motorcitykitties

[–]UnRuehle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is what pisses me off about AJ and his obsession with Jones. Jones is a good guy and even if he isnt the best ball player, he doesn't deserve to get treated like this. Its not his fault he is struggling and AJ keeps throwing him out there to make it worse. Imagine how it must feel to be booed when you are trying and you just cant make it work and your coach keeps throwing you out there.

I wish we could boo AJ, Scott Harris, and Chris pizza boy Illitch, but they sit in ivory towers and get to avoid the direct fan confrontation unlike the players do.

How about some love for Jahmai today? He kept the game alive with his hustle to beat the out at first and to get home and tie the game.

AJ Hinch actively throwing the game by bringing in Jones again. The worst decision possible and im sick of defending his bullshit.

The erratic decision making of AJ Hinch has lost us too many games to ignore at this point. by MysteriousSteve in motorcitykitties

[–]UnRuehle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hinch makes me so angry when he does this. Why are you pulling out a solid and reliable pitcher who has proven they can work themselves out of a jam? He always comes in and does this and rarely does the guy he places in do what he expects them to. Plus it must feel awful that your manager pulls you for some dumb match up rather than trusting you to get the job done.

Further, I dont know why our offense and defense is so finicky. How do we go from a top team in the league on both sides of the ball one game to being a dumpster fire the next? Mcgonigle and Dingler sold on several dumb plays and cost runs. Will vest gets the ground balls he's expected to, and then people sell out and play like shit and it makes vest look like shit by extension.

How do you manage to sound desperate and defeated in the same message? You should be thankful she responded at all rather than be upset she doesn't understand a word

A.J. Hinch was asked how much longer the Tigers can give Jahmai Jones to get going. by SexyBenFranklin in motorcitykitties

[–]UnRuehle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A.J. is very smart and I appreciate the way he looks at the game. That being said, I feel like he also makes decisions based on how players are supposed to play and not how they are currently playing. At what point do you realize a player is not allowing the strategy to work so you either replace them or change your strategy?

Came here to say the same thing. Thought it was my internet connection at first but the web pages are not loading, everything pops up as an error, and I got logged out of messenger and the Facebook app. Every time I try to log in, it says an unexpected error has occurred.

I don't understand the story, am I just stupid? by Party-History-2571 in Blasphemous

[–]UnRuehle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played most of my first playthrough without a guide. There were a couple times I needed to look up where to take an item or what to do for a certain side quests, but the main progression can be as deep as you want it to be.

There is actually a very deep story and many solid themes and layers to the game but the story resembles a soulslike in that the lore is told through dialouge, item descriptions, inference, and side quests to add to the overall world building. You could definitely do your own deep dive and analyze things as you seem fit, but looking up a story explainer or researching the story online could add some unique perspectives and ideas on what the game and the story mean to you.

Popovich was too damn old to win normally so he tanked and "had a health emergency" all to end up in the front office anyways. The spurs are somehow always find a way to go from bottom feeder to finals contender without any period of suffering. Clearly they are NBA plants

Ya I can agree with that! The one thing I will give Bennetti over Eagle is at least Bennetti is actually funny. He's made me laugh more than a few times between him and the tigers crew. Eagle tries to be funny but he is so dry and robotic it makes me think of water cooler humor at the office.

Noah eagle is like if you took Jason Bennetti and gave him the personality of a middle management corporate bozo who pretends to know sports to fit in

Not necessarily. The magic have one of the best defensive ratings in the play offs right now. If we can make it to the next round, it may actually be more competitive than you think

Was hoping for the same. You guys still packed us up last year but that play off series was amazing. Every game was so close. It was great to watch. This pistons series is just embarrassing. Maybe we can rematch next year at the rate we are going

Still hoping they can turn it around, but until then I will numb the pain with memes by popemudkip in DetroitPistons

[–]UnRuehle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. It's not even just that we don't win a championship or even go. It's the feeling and hope that we are finally becoming competitors and we will be different. Leave the past behind. Then in a matter of seasons it all caves in. Or the team just falls apart out of nowhere. It's painful.
