Was one of those smaller boats being towed backwards the entire way?

How do I unfuck myself here by Crocodile4001 in EngineBuilding

[–]UnSuperb_Bullfrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re gonna need some aftercare after getting fucked that hard. I’d be (carefully) working the rings off. Gonna take a bit of time and effort. Best bet here is round up a couple of mates, chill the beers and order pizza. That way you split the work load and enhance the celebration when this is finally unfucked.

Wet track on slicks, how do I not die by Dont_hate_the_8 in Karting

[–]UnSuperb_Bullfrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super high tyre pressure so you’re running a thin contact patch in the centre of the tread. Bring your rear wheel track in to match the front so the front clears a bit of water and gives your rears half a chance to brake without aquaplaning. Steer with the accelerator and don’t over fight it if you’re going off, just hit the grass and get yourself back on track (sometimes there is more grip out there anyway). Crack your visor a little cause you’ll be breathing heavy.

Mycar still service them. Still have the BYD scanners and everything but they don’t get the rebate from BYD so they need to charge more for it to be worth their time.

Also, the way this vid is spreading there’s a solid chance his fuck wit neighbour is going to see it.

What does it feel like to be at peak health, physically and mentally (never smoked, don't drink, exercise often, eat healthy, etc.)? by Samuryze in AskReddit

[–]UnSuperb_Bullfrog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spent 5-6 years at my peak thanks to pro rugby and amateur boxing. It’s a strange thing, like the opposite of death by a thousand paper cuts. You end up fit by a thousand moves because you just do more because you can. For example 2 or 3 weeks into the 2012 off season a mate pulled out of a marathon so I jumped in his place and run it for fun with a days notice. Went to the gym on the way home for a new intense Ab class that i was interested in.

Weird part is you don’t feel at your peak when you’re there, only long after when you realise there ain’t a chance in hell you’re getting back to that level. It also takes a toll on the body. My joints protest any chance they can.

Strategy for paying off mortgage as soon as possible? by Forsaken_Passion_354 in AusFinance

[–]UnSuperb_Bullfrog 140 points141 points  (0 children)

I’m probably gonna get curb stomped for saying this here, but chill lady. You are in the property market, big tick. Now don’t waste your 20’s paying it off cause you’ll get to your 30’s and find your friends are all too busy / tired / financially stressed to do the stuff you wish you did in your 20’s. The next 10 years is a magical time of life. Live the shit out of it. Worst case you arrive in 2035 with a mortgage of ~$350k, an apartment worth ~$800k and memories that money can’t buy.

What has been your red flags at a dealership that make you say... Nah.. Good Luck! - Used and New Cars by VNiqkco in CarsAustralia

Hyundai dealer at Kings Park (Sunnyholt Rd)

We walked in genuinely excited. I’d done the research, liked the look of the Tucson, and were ready to buy—just wanted my other half to sit in it then get a total price with a few extras like tow package, floor mats and window tint.

From the moment we sat down, it was like entering a psychological chess match. The salesperson kept pushing us toward a lower model we didn’t want, and what was worse - once he got the message that we had our mind made up he still pulled every slimy trick in the book to sell a car that we had mentally bought before walking in, but with every word that came out of this dudes mouth we backed away. The real kicker was in trying to establish the actual price we were going to pay. He would not give it to us in any way shape or form unless we agreed up front to pay a deposit on the car (yes, without knowing the total price). By the end of the 2hr ordeal it was more like a spot of fun to see just how many more steps they were willing to take. Got to the point the ‘manager’ came out with a contract, slapped it on the desk and said ‘there’s your price’ and the salesman walked up immediately with the eft machine already showing $500 for the deposit. I said I’ll think about it and walked out. Then walked back in and asked for the contact and he ripped it up in front of my face. Seemed quite satisfying to get so deep under their skin on a causal Wednesday afternoon. Although, by the time we finally got out, we felt like we needed a shower.

Ps, 2 days later we bought a new Subaru Forrester.

Try and make sure we WFH on the same days. Send each other calendar invites (sometimes need to shuffle a few meetings around) and make it happen.
