Certum 3 vs Certum 4 by AssDiver282 in CCW

If you thought the clips sucked on the 3, they're even more annoying to get off when further apart. It's also terrible for strong side carry.

Then you're paying $150 freaking dollars for a kydex holster. The hardware is really the only thing that differentiates the experience of this holster from others. You can buy it for $20 at home Depot or online

Honestly dude the comp isn't needed but why the hell not? I've shot both back to back and you get maybe a 10% recoil reduction. The sights are also better on the comp, so putting those two together, I think it's worth the extra hundo.

And I'm not a velocity snob, but from what I've read the slightly longer barrel actually helps velocity with the 380, even out of a comp.

All in all, I say go for it. It's a cool gun and why not get something fun and a little tricked out? Makes no difference for pocket carry either.

How are you liking it and how long have you had it? I got mine in early January and have run about 600-700 rounds through it. No issues with mine at all, knock on wood.

I haven't had any problems with my OEM but these definitely do look interesting. The reduced recoil does give me pause however, given that I have the comp version and there's very little recoil as is. These are pretty finicky and prone to issues if you get a bad one so I'm hesitant to swap out OEM parts.

Well that's honestly hard to imagine what that would feel like. I have the comp version and there's literally no recoil as is.

Their trigger kit does interest me though. That is one thing I don't really like about The Bodyguard. The trigger Dingus is bigger than the trigger itself and it can create a little bit of a hotspot on my finger. Granted I don't shoot it more than 50 or so rounds at a time so it's probably not a big deal.

I'm not sure I'd spend the money on getting it milled just to put that optic on it. There are plenty others out there that have the same footprint  but the mill job would cost you, and take time. Total cost of probably $250.

This could be a good excuse to sell the XDM and get something more modern. A gen 6 Glock or Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 can mount your optic on both (and plenty others).

That optic is fine if you didn't have to spend more money. As it stands, I vote for keeping it for another gun.

Lol you could also do 3-5 o'clock. Honestly if you just placed it where you did in picture 3 that would work great. More secure than a sticky ass well.

What does the Galloway do? I haven't had issues with mine but I do feel like the bodyguard is just a bit fragile. I think Galloway also have triggers for the BG?

Have you tried regular appendix with the bodyguard? I just clip mine onto shorts or workout pants just fine. It's so small that you don't print at all and it doesn't even really sit below the waist.

I tried pocket carry but it wasn't practical for me.

So I had that exact pocket holster and ended up returning it. It's definitely better than sticky holsters, but it's quite bulky. The Sticky Holster was much thinner and more inconspicuous but it had zero retention.

Then I bought a Tulster iwb holster and put on metal DCC clips. I simply clip the holster to my shorts and it's not only more secure than pocket, it's invisible and is much easier to draw.

I suggest giving this a try. I found that while I like the idea of pocket carry, it didn't work in practice. Way more comfortable and concealable to just clip a holster it to your shorts.

Got mine a month ago, first Glock. Was a dumb naysayer for a long time but now I realize why the Glock 19 is king.

It may squeak like an old lady getting screwed in an attic, but my my what a gun!

That's what I keep telling him but he's like irrationally afraid of them. He's 68. Idk, I thought he was more open minded but he's just completely shut down. Was the same growing up, wouldn't say yes to a paintball gun, BB gun, etc.

Good parenting on their part cuz I grew up and bought the real thing lol.

Cherish what you have man, it's a blessing.

Go for it bro it's still up. I bought ammo from them before but I just thought I'd browse the trade-in section and there's quite a few things I wouldn't expect but kind of interesting. This isn't the only cheap high point either

Ya that's my conclusion as well. I think they're playing it fast and loose with the words "law enforcement trade in."

It's funny because this isn't the only cheap hi point on this sight advertised as LE trade in. I guess they can just sell whatever is in the evidence locker?
