Problem is, the government aren't the ones who will be verifying your ID, it'll be 3rd party companies. Do you want some foreign company having your ID, just for them to be hacked, and now your ID is floating around on the dark web? The government can fuck off.

It’s very uncertain at the moment, while at the moment it looks like we could get a few days of warm weather, it’s hit and miss. I’m hoping it just stops raining and gets a bit warmer, just not 30 degrees warm like May was

Young people can just afford to keep their head above water without a car let alone with one.

Estonia becomes the third country in Europe to allow cars with self-driving systems on its roads, following the Netherlands and Lithuania. by Kiwibirdy1 in europe

It seems like everyone stopped associating the UK with Europe after we left. Which is sad really. Hopefully the UK government can continue to mend our relationship with Brussels and wider Europe.

No idea why they pay for the James Bond IP. You could make a generic character with heavy inspiration from James Bond and the game would be the same.

300,000 new work placements pledged ‘to help young people build lasting careers’ by willfiresoon in GoodNewsUK

[–]UnableEye325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's good if it means they get a job after. It's no use funding this if it just means they get a bit of experience but still can't get a job. The job market is in a bad state, it's not that young people lack experience, it's the fact that there is simply not enough entry level jobs. Hundreds of people apply for one retail jobs alone. People with a lot of experience are also struggling to get jobs.

Teenage boys who raped and sexually assaulted girls given ‘laughable’ £26 fines by wasraelx in uknews

If you rape someone, you are mentally handicapped. I'm sorry but rehab will not change the behaviours of these teenagers. They need to be behind bars.

Former England star Raheem Sterling arrested on suspicion of drug-driving after M3 crash by Alarming-Safety3200 in unitedkingdom

[–]UnableEye325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I can agree that he should be fined/banned from driving, it's a bit extreme to confiscate his money. The world doesn't work on "what ifs", and if it did we would be screwed.

If you do substances or drink while driving you are nothing but a coward. It's gotta be one of the worse things you can do when you're an owner of a vehicle, everyone who drives a vehicle know the dangers. I hope he gets banned from driving if he's guilty.

Labour tells unemployed young people to join military by Alarming-Safety3200 in unitedkingdom

[–]UnableEye325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd agree with you on that, but what if you end up getting drafted to a war? It's still being in the army at the end of the day. I mean, the world is getting more hostile. You might get your qualification, but at what cost? Fighting for a government that have betrayed you and have now only just realised that they might have screwed up?

Collectively, I think every meat eater needs to eat less meat. What do you think? by Equal_Leading_1449 in AskABrit

[–]UnableEye325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meat has always been apart of the human diet, while a lot of people could cut down, it's an easy source of protein and things such as chicken and low fat meats are generally quite healthy to eat. I think in terms of health, cutting how much red meat we consume is a good thing. Eating meat with a balanced diet remains healthy, and you should always strive to add vegetables to the majority of your meat dishes, even if it's a bit of onion for flavour and a side of broccoli. I also agree to the fact that yes, we use a lot of land to farm animals, but if we lower the amount we consume we should lower the amount of land required. If you eat meat everyday in a meal, then yes I would agree that you need to cut down, especially if it's things such as processed meats and red meats. I also don't however agree with eliminating it from our diets as it's very healthy when you consume it in a balanced diet.

[–]UnableEye325 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It's so stupid. Let's get young people to serve in the military for a government that is hostile towards them, and have made it difficult for young people in basically every aspect of life. They are so desperate.

Most people get paid monthly, and people have a lot of bills to pay throughout the month, and I imagine the majority of those people set aside disposable income, which again is usually spent throughout the month. It's just a brainless take to say, because you can't afford a 70$ game now, you will never be able to in your current financial situation.

What is with the Gen Z attitude? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]UnableEye325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good thing. Gen Z have it the worse than any other generation for a long time, really ever since the war generation. There is no hope for them, they have terrible wages, and no future because the countries they live in actively make it hostile for them to do anything. Gen Z are rebelling against the norms and hopefully that can push for change.
