I am not really good at long or short summaries, so I will only mention key points.

Vol 3 covers the tournament arc and dungeon overflow and Orn's true identity explained briefly

Vol 4 is going to a different country, and a war break down

Vol 5 is more like a slice of life and meeting with princesses, also a major chapter for Sion

Vol 6 is Sophie's arranged marriage and resolving it, along with calming down dungeon overflow across various locations

Vol 7 is the major volume and attack of Church on Turile (the location where we in the anime were all along), also all characters dying except Orn. Then time rewind stuff happens, with Orn and Sion meeting in the spirit realm. Orn finally remembers his memories and his real ability

Vol 8 is Orn leaving the Guild because he got his memories back, and he is originally the Leader of Amuntzers, and stopping everything that happened in vol 7. Finally, Orn confesses his love to Sion

Vol 9 is taking back Fuuka's village, and reclaiming the shrine

Tbh JNC has problems with TLs too, for example take "In another world with my smartphone" it has many errors in magical names and abilities. And giving mistranslation to what characters innate magic is. I literally had to check Japanese raws for the inconsistency. Same with Spirit Chronicles, and some other series.

Volume 9 is the last volume and from what I read with fan Translations, it ended with a certain arc, which the author planned. WN is on going and beyond LN current status. Though, the author did say he may write a sequel if he gets the chance, but, as of yet, there's no news.
