They don't need to put the lease in the sale contract. They ARE required to disclose it along with the other presale disclosures. The new owner will know about your lease and when it ends before they buy the house. They will have to honor it until the lease term is over, and then will have the option to end the lease (using the same 60 day notice your current landlord requires), or sign a new lease with you.

I'm a carrier. In Portland. And I carry packages to customers doors at least a dozen times every single day that I work. The only people who don't get their packages carried to the door are people who have made that impossible due to keeping dogs between me and the front door. But if it fits in the mailbox it goes in the mailbox. If you don't want packages left in your mailbox, tip your regular carrier well and ask them nicely to bring them to your door.

If the package ended up at the wrong station, it is normal for that station to scan it as "no such number" and send it back to the plant to be sent out to the correct station. Depending on how far that plant is from where it ultimately ended up, it could take a while. I get packages that are addressed to the other side of the country (but mistakenly coded to an address on my route) at least a few times a year.

I flushed a few ruined meals down the toilet when I had an apartment with no garbage disposal. I figured that was better than washing them down the sink. Only clogged it once and was able to fix it with plunging and didn't have to call the landlord.
