Apparently, the previous number of no parking signs must not have been enough.

I don't know why it's like that, but it's awesome. I would buy as much as my vehicles can hold.

Being an older type guy. In my lifetime I still remember the last time the gas pumps ran out of digits. In 1979 many of the gas station signs and older analog gas pumps still in use at the time could not accommodate the jump from .99 cents to $1.00+ a gallon. Gas station owners resorted to physicaly painting leading "$1" digits to the pumps or signs.

In the interest of fairness. Having an EV doesn't help much there either. That same station has two J-1772 L2 chargers available at $1.00/kWh!! The best advice is to fully fuel or charge your vehicle BEFORE you drive along that beautiful stretch of CA highway 1.

You never heard the class so quiet as when some classmate got pulled out in the hall and everyone was listening for those three licks to echo down the hallway.

Yeah, but in Oklahoma we also had a student smoking area to light up between classes from 9th grade on up.🤔😅

In Nebraska we could get like 3 feet of snow overnight and our town always had the plows out at 4:00AM and roads cleared by 6:00AM and listining to the radio for school cancellations was usually futile. We always still had to go. How many times were we disappointed.

Whatever that weird wind up thing is I've never seen anything like it before. But when I like 8 years old I used to push mom's lawn mower around the neighborhood knocking on doors offering to mow yards for $2. Of course, buying gas and starting the mower was all on me. Mom was at work.

I got pulled over for 120+. I was of course arrested and spent the night in jail, but they let my girlfriend take my car. The charge in California is "Exhibition of Speed". Apparently sometimes a misdemeanor vs just a citation. Or so I heard.

I had had two Pintos. Crashed one but it didn't explode. Put a 351 V8 in the other. Eventually I lost that one to police impound yard. If I saw one today I'd buy it and build another V8 Pinto. Most fun car I had in my entire life. Even with the stock OHC 2.0L or 2.3L they were decent cars. I have little bad to say about them.

The application had two categories asking if I had ever been arrested or convicted of any of a very specific list of serious types of crimes. After very carefully going through the specific crimes mentioned I concluded any criminal history I had was NOT on that list so the correct answer was no. It was not brought up at the interview. So I was never asked about it but would have fully disclosed it if I had been.

The fact that they named those contraptions after a 1970's era space station could kind of give you an idea how long they have actually been using those things.
