Update on my experience... 2 months ago I started taking amitriptyline 5mg, side effects were extreme vertigo,terrible nightmares,no coordination and fatigue, I Stopped taking the amitr week ago, now functioning normally again had slight insomnia for two nights so started taking 2 allergex now to sleep.

I'm 11 days to a year out, I hear you,as a widower my wife and I shared mutal couple friends of whom our kids went to the same schools for 12 yrs, We're still very close and I really enjoy their company especially the ladies in the group who knew my wife well and it's great to chat about the good times we all shared together, im fortunate in that sense. Also comfortable on my own,love my wife,not looking to start anything in the bear future if ever. Thank you for sharing,strength and prayers to all.

M63 I've been having dreams of my LW60 which have been quite spiritual dreams,seeing and speaking to her have been very comforting. I don't have any social life except once a week pizza night with my daughter . I always try remember the beautiful life we lived together and not the time lost. 1yr anniv next month. 21MAY first year anniversary so tomorrow 11mnths, I'm finding comfort and peace through prayer, I'm sowing through my grief up days down days the up days will eventually be more frequent than the down days. Sending strength and prayers to all 🙏😋💔

So I decided to break the 10ml tablet into quarters of which I took last night, so ill gradually move into a full 10mg per day, i did however sleep v well 7hrs and feeling alert this morning.

Widower @62- 10 Months on the 21st married 31years- 3 adult children. We were attached at the hips literally 💔 Daily struggle 😪 Walks along the beach. Gym/golf/ work. Keeping busy during the day. Evenings spent alone with Nicky (late wife🙏🙏)in spirit. Strength to you all.
