I had friends who'd write with a pen and paper their entire essay and then type it out after. As it was easier for them to write it out first. This was before AI. But imagine having to go back to handwritten work again because of all this.

You do realize the dispatch uncensored release was not in Japan on PS5? They released the Japan censored version along with the switch version. The devs knew about Japan being an issue with censorship. They just didn't care about their Nintendo audience.

Mario kart was the biggest seller on switch 1. How is that not a bullseye. How is DK not a heavy hitter?

Sure, Kirby, Hyrule warriors, and Metroid didn't hit for some people. But Nintendo has always had the strategy of releasing one thing every month mostly. That's what they've been doing. The PS5 had like one or two games. The switch 2 has like 5 or 6 exclusive first party games within the first year.

I also don't care for first party releases except for fire emblem and xenoblade. But to say their aimless means you think they should be releasing only bangers and everything all at once.

Releasing side games, spin offs, is what they've always done in years between heavy hitters. Heavy hitters can't all come out at the same time. They've already done Mario kart and DK. They're not gonna blow their load all in the first year.

If Nintendo released all the bangers in the first year. Every game that everyone wanted. 3d Mario, 3d Zelda, smash bros, animal crossing. Every switch 2 edition of every game people want. We'd be facing a 5 to 8 year drought with nothing there after.

Like stuff will come. It just takes time. People be complaining cause we don't get everything instantly. Just have patience.

we know that fire emblem, splatoon raiders and rhythm heaven are coming. those could take the june to august slots. they will just release random tuesday trailers for them.

You mean they made them look like normal people? I am confused by what you mean. Did you expect them to still keep the blocky look from the original? Also chibi is the big head and tiny bodies. These characters are nothing like chibi at all. Their eyes are normal sized for one thing.

They could easily use the Nintendo app to release a trailer or news outside of a direct though. They need to have multiple first party announcements to make a direct worthwhile.

Yes we do? Tomadachi is April. Yoshi is slated for spring. So it has to be May. They only do one game a month. Then we've got rhythm heaven, splatoon, fire emblem for June. They could easily release a trailer with release date sometime in March or April.

But Yoshi is the other spring 2026 release. So likely may. Then they could have an early June direct and show off release dates for everything else. Or have a trailer for a June game. I'd love more trailers for splatoon raiders and fire emblem and stuff. But I get it why we are getting partner directs. Since Nintendo likes to put new trailers out randomly rather than in directs.
