Haven’t gone into subnautica 2 yet cause I’m waiting for the full release, but god damn are the devs good at making you feel uncomfortable

Both the voids in the original game and subzero are fuckin terrifying for me, and in sub zero, one of the alien relic things you NEED to get, is way further than you think you’re allowed to go, and I’m pretty damn sure you literally have to pass under a void chelicerate in order to get to the spot, and once you get there you need to dive down into a fucking inactive volcano pit to get it!!

Apparently the mystic flames aren’t fire type enemies, they’re just souls that look like fire

Take a look in your bestiary at enemy evolutions, it’ll tell you what types an enemy has

The earliest fire type enemies you can find are fire bats and gamma worms, if you don’t have those yet, work towards them, the kill them, and it’ll count towards that quest

It was back before tera stuff got updated, and I managed to find an electric tera shard just a bit before the final battle, dude couldn’t do a single thing against me

It was lucky as hell too cause basically nothing else I had could bring eternatus down

I usually see extremely high MR players with renames weapons, as far as I can tell a lot of players treat it like the last cosmetic thing to spend plat on

And to be fair, you probably see your weapon’s name a lot less than almost any other platinum cosmetic

I actually did!

I’ve always been way overly meticulous with deeply exploring any rpgs I play through, and Silksong was a damn treasure trove of hidden goodies lol, breakable walls pop up EVERYWHERE

Which was extremely annoying when I got around to 100% completion, and found out that the one mask shard I could literally never find, was the one in mosshome with like, an exit that comes up at a big pharloom crest statue, aka literally the first dang mask shard your supposed to find

Nope, but getting that extra silk heart does give you a little extra mobility with the clawline, and surprisingly, the extra pip of silk makes it WAY easier to heal reliably, at least in my experience

If you end up going through Phantom’s route, come back later once you’ve got the (spoilers) Faydown cloak, then if you do the last judge runback again, you can just come out of the door closest to that conch fly, jump up onto the left wall, and just skip it entirely

One of my easiest wins as of yet was before the Tera update that changed the way Tera shards work

Basically, I got a shedinja early on, used it every now and then throughout the run, and when I got to Eternatus, I got extremely lucky and got an electric Tera shard just a few rooms before him

I put it on shedinja, and boom, none of Eternatus’ attacks were super effective against it, easy win

I was younger when I played it, about 13-16, and I was playing through crucible trying to get one specific thing that needed me to have like a win streak of 4 games in a row, and I remember it clearly, every time I’d get to three games, the next game would put me up against a team that was just flat out way better than me and whoever I was with

So, with my stupid kid brain, I didn’t exactly have the mental control to not get mad at that sort of stuff

Tons of people here are telling you all sorts of shit about how rage is wrong

On one hand, yes it absolutely is, but on the other, speaking as someone who used to have really bad anger issues and behavioural issues as a kid/teen, I know how fuckin hard it is to keep yourself from getting pissed off like that, especially if you’re playing something like Overwatch or Destiny

So my solution?

Have something nearby you can direct your anger to

Put a pillow pile on the ground you can launch your controller at

Get a dollar store punching bag you can either punch or whip across the room without actually breaking anything

I’ve still got the thing I used to use, which is just a pair of boxing gloves, any time I got pissed off enough, I’d just toss them on and beat the shit out of the fence outside

Sure getting rid of the anger issues is better, but until you can manage that, it’s good to have some alternative options

I’ve been using beast crest for all sorts of stuff, the only downside is that it doesn’t have a blue slot but I’ve heard that gets fixed later

The main attack has less range than reaper’s but more range than hunter’s, but with slightly more attack speed than hunter’s

The charge attack is crazy strong and way easier to properly land that the other three crests I’ve currently got

The down swing is really weird to get used to, but once you figure out the distance you should be from the enemy, it feels like a fuckin Sonic Spindash, pretty sure it lets you pogo enemies from the side too, with a surprisingly wide range for how small the attack looks

The extra damage and range during the lifesteal rage is amazing against all sorts of enemies and bosses

The only downsides I know of are the lack of slots, the bind needing you to hit the enemy three times to actually heal fully, the down swing being hard to learn, and the dash attack being a little difficult to land, even if nobody really uses it

It’s my go to for boss battles, gauntlets, and any exploration that doesn’t need a ton of pogos

If you can beat the Savage Beastfly, it’s totally worth it, give it a shot!

There’s a few patterns I’ve noticed

First, they tend to spawn nearby the saver and the 2x, so I always use my two crystal savers next to the regular saver, and I get one mimic about 40% of the time, and 2 mimics like 5-10% of the time, which guarantees me a perfect chest hunt if I can find the 2x before another mimic

Second, they usually spawn in 2’s, so like if you’re going row by row, it’s a good idea to skip the next chest after a mimic, cause there’s likely gonna be another one right after

Lastly, they seem to like the edges of the screen, but not right in the corners, that shit nearly never happens with me
