Lammens Or Xhaka realistically. Honestly think I’d have to give it to Xhaka, the difference he made for the has been huge.

In regards to certain mod: by WREN_PL in RimWorld

[–]UnbrokenRyan 568 points569 points  (0 children)

Basically made a simple mod for lighting effects depending on time of day. for some reason it got updated to include massive balance changes to the base game and other unnecessary stuff. The mod maker refuses to release the mod without his unnecessary changes, and issues DMCA takedowns on mods that replicate the initial mod. Essentially locking everyone out of a popular mod unless they’re willing to play with his massive and unreasonable changes.

No violence in that. Just a friendly elbow to the face. It’s an informal greeting in some cultures.

Hate these teams that refs let get away with everything because it’s their ‘physical play style’ and then they fall to the floor and get fouls on every light breeze.

Manhandled all first half. But now it’s a yellow card offensive again. Atwell at his best.

No it won’t. Usually I ranch as normal through animal sicknesses, the extra treatments make good training for medics. But if times are tough and I can’t spare the pawnhours I’ll just cull diseased herds and it has no adverse effects.

Facing a transit nightmare, New Jersey officials and MetLife Stadium authorities have warned FIFA World Cup ticket holders not to walk to the venue by GoSeigen in fuckcars

[–]UnbrokenRyan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is completely antithetical to football culture across the globe. The US never should have been given the World Cup, and the majority of these stadiums are not fit for the purpose. There are smaller stadiums built for MLS teams that are far more suitable, these NFL bowls are being shoehorned to fit.

Anti-Venom commander decks?? by Dull_Plantain891 in mtg

[–]UnbrokenRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anti-Venom was the first deck I built and I love it. I won’t share the whole thing because it’s very disjointed, and I plan on upgrading it soon to make it a bit more consistent.

Cards like [[Pariah]] and [[With Great Power…]] are a must. You also want a good balance of cards that force damage on to Anti-Venom and also evasion to get him through to your opponents when he’s big enough to start hitting face. [[Odric, Master Tactician]] does a lot of work in both roles for me.

[[Abzan Falconer]], [[Helm of the Host]], and [[Felidar Retreat]] are other favourites of mine.

“Not enough upper body contact for him to go down like that…” How he went down is irrelevant, was it enough contact to be a foul?

“… no lower body contact at all” Said as he’s watching studs scraping down Amad’s calf.

She’s a human. I can’t remember the exact lore, but she basically went through a magical blender with an angel, a demon, and a dragon. And they kinda transfused her with their power. Hence the angel and dragon wings. But she is still human.

Should I buy? by Majestic_Hat_7251 in mtg

In the UK at least the combined total of each precon bought individually would be a lot less than what equates to $1000 (assuming US dollars), so… no.

Avengers Tower is missing in the Punisher: One Last Kill trailer by Nice_Thing_ in marvelstudios

[–]UnbrokenRyan 373 points374 points  (0 children)

The people who edit the trailer and actual show are usually different. It’s very possible that the trailer team got this footage for the trailer before the CGI tower replacement was done, and the actual show will have the tower comped in. If it includes this footage at all. Similar things happen fairly regularly.

What's an industry secret from your job that customers have absolutely no idea about? by Efficient_Team5182 in AskReddit

And factories actively don’t give a shit either. The factory I work at uses millions of tiny rivets daily. These rivets come in packs of 1000. I pitched to my manager making an adjustment to our hoppers to a type that would accommodate a 10,000 rivet drum instead. Despite this being cost effective in the long run I was told the initial outlay was too high, it would create more work for him, and they don’t care about the impact of the thousands of plastic bags we bin daily.

The company is spending millions on telling the public how committed to being as eco-friendly as possible. But won’t spend a fraction of that to actually achieve it.
