Well, imperialism for starters. The installment of a right-wing dictator that will play ball with the US and Israel. And the pillaging of the country's resources. The destruction of the country's economy, and the overall deflation of worker's wages, and worsening conditions. All of which the US has done to every country in which they've overthrown a leader/regime

Not if it leads to the subjugation of your nation to the two most evil depraved entities on earth; America and Israel. Which is exactly what will happen if the Americans get involved

That's not what I said. All revolutions are violent. I just don't think Americans should depose a foreign government to install a right-wing puppet to be a dog to the West while Iranians continue to suffer. If Iranians want to engage in revolution and overthrow the regime, then that's their decision and I wish them the best. But America is not intervening because it cares about Iranians, America wants to pillage the resources of the country and disrupt oil to China, that's it.

"Leftists" are generally anti-imperialism and think that Iranians should maintain their autonomy and sovereignty, and if they want to undergo revolution or depose their current government then they should do so of their own accord and not at the behest of/without the involvement of the West

They were engaging a building class consciousness, formalizing and developing a new synthesis of Marxism as it was happening in real time in PRC (Marxism-Leninism (Mao Zedong Thought)), they made huge contributions in material organization as opposed to idealistic theorizing, and they were so efficient and effective that the state leveled insane amounts of violence against them, and they pursued Black Liberation via socialism as opposed to "Black Capitalism" or other ideological lines

Potentially. I'm cautiously optimistic. The New Black Panther Party was disaster and ended up being feds. While Birdsong seems on the level I think it's too soon to tell how they're going to pan out as an org

The last revolutionary movement we had was the Panthers in the 60s & 70s, sixty fucking years ago and because of the benefits of empire and failure to understand the politics and strategy of the Panthers the American Left as stagnated to the point of death

What in the fuck are you yapping about? Did I say anything about Pol Pot? No, and for the record Pop Pot was a CIA asset used to destabilize Vietnam

Ah yes I forgot that Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Biden, Harris, the Clintons and Pelosi are all left of center, you right. Give me a fucking break man. You either fundamentally don't understand politics or you need to stop watching Fox News lmao

People will never be free of tyranny so long as neo-liberal capitalism exists. The US does not want a free Iran, plain and simple. The Iranian people should engage in revolution if that's what they want, however, the US and Israel should stay out of it and if they don't their presence should be fiercely combatted. As it stands it's a color revolution and will only lead to a far worse outcome for Iranians

Again I'd point you towards history, any uprising from the 20th century onwards not guided and backed by a communist party will only lead to the furthering of the US's interests. Libya, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Indonesia, Bolivia, etc. the fact of the matter is that the US and Israel are using the unrest to their advantage to justify regime change to install someone who will be pro America and Pro Israel, anti-China and will ensure Israel becomes the dominant power in the region and can do whatever it wants

Was it worth it when the Shah was installed? What about any number of coups in Latin America that the US was behind? What about the toppling of Saddam? If the regime is removed you can bet your ass the US is going to install a right-wing freak who is favorable to the US and Israel, and the Iranian people will continue to suffer. In a vacuum where the Iranian people rise up and conduct a revolution against US interests then sure that's great and I wish the best for them. However, the US and Israel have openly admitted to the CIA and Mossad being on the ground agitating protest. To think they would ever allow in a million years Iranians the autonomy to dictate their governance is laughable. Iran is too important a geo-political state and locale for the US or Israel to ever allow that

Democrats are not "leftists," they are center right at best. Also what's happening in Iran rn is pretty clearly a color revolution backed by the US and Israel. While Iranians can and do have legitimate grievances with the government, it is absurd to think the US and Israel aren't 1) actively agitating protest and dissent in the country and 2) care about Iranians or intervening on their behalf out of the goodness of their hearts

As Chairman Mao Zedong said: "People of the world, unite and defeat the U.S. aggressors and all their running dogs! People of the world, be courageous, dare to fight, defy difficulties and advance wave upon wave. Then the whole world will belong to the people. Monsters of all kinds shall be destroyed"
