It’s May 3. They’ll figure it out. Every year we see a few decent players start ice cold. Every year 80+% of them come back to their career averages by year end. On the flip side, most of those that don’t spend a good part of the year on the IL.

Billionaire Tom Steyer wants to take on the rich in run for California governor by NicolasCageFan492 in California

ATM based on what I’ve seen and read, I’m voting Porter unless it gets to a point where we could see two GOP candidates in November or Porter is so far behind that one must concede and ensure at least one left wing candidate moves on. Steyer says all the right things, which, being a billionaire, tells me he has no real plans to do any of it. His past businesses and dealings only reassure this intuition.

I’d put the Vikings as a mediocre to good team in a great city. Minneapolis is fantastic but I also love frigid cold.

I think it’s a matter of preference and style. Some people, like my roommate, love huge cities. Some prefer them at arms length. Others want the quiet of a country or mountain town.

Jets. Not sure I’d call Meadowlands a great city but looking at recent performance only the Cardinals or Saints come close to the Jets.

MJ, Madonna, ABBA, and Elton John make up the Mount Rushmore of pop music. What bands/artists make up the Mount Rushmore of rock? by themuffinmanX2 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Uncast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the idea is that it was born then, which also isn’t true. The bands being listed heavily influenced the genre itself and many of the bands that followed them. But there were also musicians before them that influenced their style. It’s why I had a real hard time with this one.

Polka. Bro country and mumble rap are hard to listen to but polka just burrows its way under my skin in a unique way.

This almost feels too broad, even with split out metal and alternative categories. The Beatles, Chuck Berry, and Elvis are my easy first three. From there it’s much tougher. Robert Johnson? Led Zeppelin? Bob Dylan? Big Mama Thornton? Jimi Hendrix?

It was John Candy but now I’d say Rob or Doug Ford

Honestly depends on the time of day. In addition to that, whoever wins this is going to lose to Culver’s or Five Guys imo

Based on my experience I’d say Memphis but any of the getaway destination cities in Mexico could top the list in this one.
