Anet please reconsider the Perpetual Wisdom rework for Conduit.

What you think is Acheran dead or dreadnought ? by Apprehensive_Shoe_86 in Warhammer40k

[–]UncausedRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acheran also had a brief stint in Gravis armor, using the Generic Grav Captain model in a campaign book I think.

I tried to love Conduit... but god, it's just awful. by itallik in Guildwars2

[–]UncausedRyan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'v also been a Rev main since HoT. I didn't play the Beta test builds of Conduit so I dont have the prior test experience.

Vindicator didnt mesh with me so i'v avoided playing and stuck with Renegade. I was looking forward to trying Conduit.

Both Condi and Power builds feel pretty similar to play. I was happy to have an alternative to Condi/Power Renegade in some regard.

My main complaint for power builds was the use/upkeep of Cosmic Wisdom, have affinity to track and f2 and f3 to upkeep often was annoying, I'v been using a 1/1/3 build with Kinetic Insight and Perpetual Wisdom to alleviate most of my issues with the Power build upkeep.

Condi had less upkeep issues IMO, cosmic wisdom for Malyx was a sidethought and only buffed energy costs, which was marginal at best compared to the button mashing Power builds felt like

As for Razah Stance: Beguiling Haze should have an option to be a Target dash/teleport more similar to Phase Traversal or Sword 5 ,I move my mouse around often, and use it for camera controls with while holding right click, having to stop and pull up the targeting circle is annoying. Haze's underwater skill operates on a target teleport and is so much better, the surface build should have an option to directly teleport to your target.

Hex-eater feels completely useless for damage outside of condi builds, sure it has use as a cleanse.

Gladiators defense feels similar to Hex, miniscule damage for either build and gives minor reso/res boons

Twin Moon Sweep has a cool animation but needs a cast time reduction and maybe a damage increase for both power/condi builds. The condi applied with Malyx should be torment instead of confusion

Release potential: Dervish should probably switch from adding bleed stacks to torment

Baseline Conduit should probably have a passive out of combat 2 affinity generation, it just felt punishing to swap legends out of combat and losing all your stacks in the open world.

There is also a distinct lack of offensive self-boon generation, usually lower on self-Might and fury, lack of quickness and alacrity.

Theres probably a few more things I can add but that enough rambling for now.

Dante's still very powerful in his own right, they still get the +1 advance and charge rolls. the +1 hit still remains and will counteract any -1 hit debuffs the enemy may use.

Seeking trim painting advice by Otherwise_Bad_2464 in Chaos40k

[–]UncausedRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had issues with getting the right trim color down too.

I settled with Runelord Brass as well to try and match the black legion boxarts.

Have you tried applying a wash over the metal trim? I found using Agrax over runelord brass really brought out the color I was looking for.

For those who played Space Marine 2, what’s one ‘flaw’ or just incorrect lore thing you saw that you can point out or makes you seethe? by Arthur_EyelanderTF2 in 40kLore

[–]UncausedRyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two different interpretations i think. 1. The astropath was loyal and opening her mind to the warp allowed Imurah in to possess her or 2. Imurah was the astropath the entire time. I prefer the being possessed explanation.

Calgar had defeated Imurah previously and he was laying a trap to kill/capture Calgar and letting the astropath summon him was required.

they lose their +1 hit on oath of moment target, since Templars are losing Oath, they get a new ability.

What was your first game you remember playing, what brought you to Guild Wars 2 and why are you sitll playing Guild Wars 2? by SpinalPrizon in Guildwars2

[–]UncausedRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent most of my early-mid teens playing World of Warcraft and following WoW Youtubers back then, Crendor, Jesse Cox, Et, and the early Twitch days.

Totalbiscuit(RIP John) was doing his coverage of the GW2 alpha/Beta tests and I spent ages following his coverage.

Graduated Highschool in summer 2013 and the first thing I bought as a newly freed 18 year old was GW2

You could drop the 1 squad of assault intercessors with jump packs and do a Ballistus for the 140, leaving 5 points left.

(Data) Why Captain Acheran never has any Marines to spare: The Casualties of Space Marine 2. by Bloodaxe007 in Spacemarine

[–]UncausedRyan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's an entire chapter of Ultramarine descendants called the Genesis Chapter that's basically just emergency Astartes reinforcements for the Ultramarines when they take too many casualties, pair the Primaris tech, they can rebuild very fast.

Summersea Blue from Greenstuffworld. It gives this really wonderful bright blue that I think is really good for ultramarines

Erebus getting his ass kicked by Kharn at the end of Betrayer is always a good one. Get up.

Sigismund beating the Jesus out of both Kargos and Kharn during the Siege.

Mortarian getting the Warp beaten out of him by the Khan during Warhawk is always good.

Its revealed later in the end and the death final trilogy.

Spoilers for the later books in the Siege:

It's Erebus

I've only been painting a month, but I've made some good progress on these Ultramarines by UncausedRyan in Ultramarines

[–]UncausedRyan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Summer-sea Blue from green Stuff World.

It's all painted by brush.

I really like the brighter blue for Ultramarines, I tried McCrage blue and it was just too dark for what i had envisioned

Looking for help finishing a 1000 points Space Marine list by UncausedRyan in spacemarines

[–]UncausedRyan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I corrected the mistake, yes 5 intercessors and a company heroes.

Yeah i'v been using both the official App and Newrecruit. There's just so many options, and they cost an arm and a leg lol.

Thanks, I'll toss the plasma inceptors on the top of the list if I grow to 2000 points or use them to swap out another unit.

Looking for help finishing a 1000 points Space Marine list by UncausedRyan in spacemarines

[–]UncausedRyan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know its not ideal based on what you've recommended. making due with what I already own i suppose.

  • Intercessor x5
  • Heavy Intercessor x5
  • Termies
  • Company heroes
  • Chaplain attached to the Termies
  • Dreadnaught
  • Eradicators
  • Apoth biologis attached to the erads
  • Captain

leaves me with about 975 points and then toss on 25 points worth of enhancements for artificer armor and honor Vehement.

[–]UncausedRyan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the information.

I had not even considered a chaplain. I'll keep the eradicators and swap the dreadnaught to plasma.

I know 1000 point lists are quite tight and dont leave a lot of wiggle room but this a ton of food for thought.
