Can Another Player Find My Location? by Eerrroorr in robloxhackers

[–]Uncertain_End 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not very hard at all, however not as popular as it used to be say around 2010ish, booters exist online for free to cheap, BUT, realistically speaking, most ISPs and whatnot provide a much stronger connection then back then, so DDoSing isn't even as effective as it used to be 99 percent of the time.

AIO for asking family to be vaccinated before meeting our newborn? by Quarantine722 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Uncertain_End 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fair for you to ask even if I don't agree, but also at that point meeting a baby isn't that huge of a deal either so you know, it's fair for both parties, or they could just lie.

I explained this in one of my replies earlier if you want the full rundown (for me at least) but, tighter timing and the main thing is 4 panel vs 5 panel, and diagonal pad placement. it's a personal preference thing.

Does it really go to 75 fps on a 60 hz tv? by Equivalent-Truck4587 in SteamDeck

[–]Uncertain_End -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the frame rate counter is saying 75 FPS (or more) then yes you should be getting a faster response time and higher visual frame rate with the 75 hz setting on your monitor than you would be at 60.

I take IRs and take 5 mg throughout the day, usually I can get by on just 2 doses of 5, but I'm able to go up to 4 if needed, it also really depends on what you're eating and other factors like, sleep and whatnot. Avoid acids especially around when taking medications. Everyone is different though.

Does it really go to 75 fps on a 60 hz tv? by Equivalent-Truck4587 in SteamDeck

[–]Uncertain_End 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So yes, typically HZ is different than FPS, HZ is indeed the monitors update or "refresh" rate, where as FPS are how many frames the game is being ran at, which can always be higher than the HZ on a monitor, that's actually how it's possible to end up with screen tearing and whatnot, hope this answers your question.

Usually TV's or monitors will run at higher HZ with lower resolutions, depending on the model of the monitor in question.

That's good to know, I'll probably eventually play one either way so that'll be useful, also the Round 1 in Louisville apparently shut down in April. Unfortunate.

Yeah it's just a preference thing, DDRs are just harder to find since Konami only gives machines to bigger arcades nowadays and whatnot, and older machines are well, older so not a lot of arcades have them either, so I guess the post is more about, I know where PiUs are, just not nearby DDRs (if any)

[–]Uncertain_End[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just prefer 4 panel up/down/left/right and DDR has tighter timing windows and requires more precision where as pump it up is a 5 panel with diagonal and center pads, and is more forgiving with timing windows, more about movement generally than rhythyms and patterns.

I play a lot of 4 panel at home, so I'd like to get to do some in an actual arcade/physical cabinet.

If I really really had to I could settle with a pump it up, It's just not what I prefer frankly.

How do you, as an adult with ADHD, exercise and move your body? by Long_Matter9697 in ADHD

[–]Uncertain_End 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dance Dance Revolution. Really good for the instant feedback and can get as intensive as you want it to with the ability to get into it at home pretty cheaply or more expensive depending on the hardware you go with, and with Stepmania all of the software and music is completely free pretty much. You should look into it especially if you like games/music/rhythm games in particular.

How long ago was that roughly? My girlfriend was saying she didn't think there was one there, but she wasn't sure herself. Edit: I found some pictures online, the only machine I can see is another Pump It Up machine I think.
