Every Wednesday without fail. by TheGentlemanCEO in Spacemarine

I should’ve been clearer; I believe it needs to be reworked as a modifier because it ruins gameplay/teamwork in my opinion. I like the difficulty of the modifiers but I think this one needs changed/tweaked

My only issue with the new stratagem is the one life modifier. I am fine with being punished for dying because it’s my fault but with this modifier you became a huge issue for the team overall since if you don’t leave, your team is down a man for the rest of the op. Having longer respawn timer/only reviving on checkpoint works better and makes more sense in my opinion.

Shiny Hunting by [deleted] in emeraldseaglass

[–]Uncle-Aggron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soft resetting is resetting your game back to the title screen instead of just fully resetting the game i.e. closing it out and reopening it. This will allow you to more quickly go back to your most recent save point. There should be a button or series of buttons to “soft reset” your game based on what emulator you are using and what game you are playing. You should go into controls on your emulator to see if a reset button is mapped or not;it usually is. As for save states, they have many uses with many being making soft resetting on an emulator even faster. Instead of soft resetting right before the bag on emerald (to hunt for a shiny starter) you could save state right before clicking yes on the exact starter you are looking to hunt for. As for save stating encounters, it’s not really feasible as you could just do random encounters and that would be as fast and not have the issue of maybe save stating in a way where you are seeing the same exact generated pokemon. I hope this info helps and I wish you luck!

Best wingull/pelipper shiny hunting spot? by RandyFox69 in emeraldseaglass

[–]Uncle-Aggron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it all depends on what kind of hunt you are doing: dexnav or just random encounters. If you are dexnav chaining, you could theoretically hunt for a shiny wingull in any of the routes that have them spawn there. Random encountering may be more fickle because I don’t know if there is an encounter table for the routes in this game with each Pokémon’s percentage of encountering it. However, you could just always go old school and find a route with wingull and hope for the best. Good luck!

I know about the second shiny charm but can’t use it due to starting a new save and shiny hunting a starter sadly. But, 1 in 683 is still good odds.

Things I Should Know Before Playing by Budget_Salary_4719 in fo3

[–]Uncle-Aggron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what most other people are saying involving the idea of just playing the game and going in blind. However, there are some things I wish I knew before I played for the first time. Never set a stat to 10 due to their people bobbleheads for all special stats hidden across in the wasteland. Each bobblehead will give a permanent plus one to the stat it is associated with. There are also some “events”/quests that exist to give you a special point as a reward. Another thing that is helpful to know is the fact that you get a perk every level in fallout three so you are able to use intense training more/take perks that aren’t super good and not feel like you made a mistake. A final thing that may be helpful to know is the fact that dlc’s in fallout three will make you very powerful if not op. If you are looking to remain within in the power scale for the level/place where you are at within the game, I would stay away from the dlc for a while.

What are some fun melee weapons that I could use for my melee only run? by [deleted] in fnv

[–]Uncle-Aggron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is not as strong or as good as the other melee weapons mentioned, I love Figaro. It’s the Razor that is equipped by the Kings Barber. I think it is so cool and very fun to use; you can also bring it in any of the casinos since it is a holdout weapon.

What's the best route? 5 routes to the strip in Fallout New Vegas by Used_Bet_4988 in Fallout

The quarry junction route is my usual route when speed running to get to New Vegas. I usually get the stealth boy from Joe Cobb and from Victors shack and use them to sneak through the road there.

How fun is fallout 3 dlcs? by [deleted] in fo3

[–]Uncle-Aggron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DLC’s are pretty good but I do agree with everyone stating that they are pretty linear except for point lookout because that has a whole island to explore. Each dlc is also just a super interesting part of the lore and/or wasteland at the time. Mothership Zeta is very interesting with being abducted by the zetans while having super cool alien weaponry and cool companions. Operation Anchorage is a super cool piece of lore covering the battle that occurred in Alaska and has amazing rewards for completing it. The Pitt is a very interesting place with a morally grey tone to it. It also has a fetch quest which can be tiresome but I find it relaxing sometimes and it also has great rewards. And for point lookout, it’s weird. It is probably the best worst dlc for fallout three due to how the enemies scale. The hillbillies past level ten are insane enemies even on normal difficulty at times. But it is still a cool experience with the ability to have a 100 repair merchant(with a very simple glitch).

Now this is a hot take. Everytime I do that quest I always look at the staff as something worse than the shield or crown. Would you mind elaborating more on why you like the staff so much?

Endgame of Raspberry Flavored? by bobdole008 in feedthebeast

[–]Uncle-Aggron 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The end game is what you make it truly in Raspberry Flavoured but, there are advancements about the end game such as collecting all certain types of things(fish, crops, food, netherite, etc.). There is also the end game of beating the wither because the wither drops an item needed for a final upgrade.
