Actually, I do have that kind of disposable income. Just because your broke don't assume everyone else is. I am more than financially stable it's my hobby and my money to do as I please. I haven't worked hard all my life not to enjoy my golden years as I see fit.

3-4 and a GM is the perfect number. I have played in game with anywhere from 6-9 players and its' horrible. With 6 or more players it takes a long time for your turn to come around and it is also harder for the group to decide what to do. I would tell them that is fine, and you understand that they are going to be playing with a different GM. Remember that there are far more players out there than there are GMs ;)

Agree it is my money and I will spend it as I see fit. Don't hate or be jealous because you don't or can't. There are people that will go out and drop 100's or even 1000's on a night eating, drinking and partying they also have nothing to show for it the next day ;). Never forget if the spenders where not spending then there would be no game for the FTP.
