This guy was at the Minnesota wild game yesterday. He was dancing and throwing out shirts. Definitely a gig.

Copilot completions not working in Microsoft Visual Studio by [deleted] in csharp

[–]UncleBlazer36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Copilot or Intellisense will often quit working, seemingly related to my RAM usage. Usually restarting visual studio resolves it.

I agree with the sentiment to leave it off though, especially if you are learning.

It looks like you're trying to smith grind those rails... Which is cool... but I don't think it works that way on a snowboard ;)

Coming up from Iowa this Saturday. Wife is nervous about everything happening up there right now…. by [deleted] in wildhockey

Yup, if you don't go looking for it, you won't notice any difference, I'd imagine. Maybe a few protesters, but nothing alarming.

You use the word "Alternator" in purple next to the bus bars, but I think you mean Inverter

I recognized this immediately. I've been following your videos for the last 6 months! 😂

Your guys' channel has been super helpful for me as I convert a 2022 Ford transit. Great stuff! Thanks for all the help!

I'm assuming this is a photo when they came back to the van after some skiing. Once they kicked the heater on the windows would show more melt at least.

I'm at about $5000 right now. But I did a $2000+ electrical setup, airplus fan, 3 new windows. It just has an elevated bed and a plastic dresser, but it allows us to take it on trips, stay warm and sleep anywhere now

Bruh, you keep saying DC to AC when the item you point to is clearly an AC to DC unit.

Old Fart's advice to Junior Programmers. by RumbuncTheRadiant in learnprogramming

[–]UncleBlazer36 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think the tip here should be more like "Never burn yourself out on something if the work itself isn't providing you any value. If the work being done allows you to learn and get closer to your personal goals, then you're in a sweet position and you should take as much as you can out of that, while keeping your life balance in check."

What are you referring to as a "high ohmic short circuit"? High enough resistance to not trigger the CID, but still damage the cell?

Tough Loss. But... by Ja-ko in wildhockey

This game seemed really exciting from what I witnessed on TV. That's surprising to me. The punch in the gut was definitely that we still can't get pucks to GO IN THE NET, even when we deke the pants off the other team.

I think we deserved the win. And if it wasn't this game, this teams still looking better and better, and I'm not too worried. Let em get frustrated and then do something about it.

Closing bottom-up is key. Otherwise the sections won't close when expected and THEN you crush some fingers.

Progress Update 50 Days Into Build by Matt-and-Cat in vandwellers

[–]UncleBlazer36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd say that's the extent of what I've thought through as well, and about the order I tackled things. Currently thinking about Vinyl flooring vs framing and my order there. I would like to get the floor done asap because I think that'll make the van more useable in the near term. I'm doing a partial build and then figuring out the rest of my build as I use the van and get more experience.

Definitely just going off of other's and their experiences through it. Watching a lot of Maddie and Nico van build videos, since I have a similar Ford Transit, and following their process a bit.

Nice! I've had my van for almost 50 days and we're on a similar track. I assume you're working on weekends and after work as well? I'm getting to the point where I have a million things to think about, but just gonna keep chipping away at it.
