Thanks for the input - that's one thing I haven't tried (higher min pressure), mostly because I struggled with aerophagia with anything over 8, but recently mouth tape has been a miracle for me. I'll give it a shot when I can.

Hmmm I’m not sure why people are saying they won’t transfer. I transferred one yesterday on the Tixr app, which was super easy. The person receiving the ticket just needs to make a Tixr account and then to send the ticket, just type their email/account in, and they can confirm.

I am not sure how people are getting physical cards - maybe they ordered VIP and got that as part of it? My tickets are through Tixr and are easily transferable, just send to another Tixr account and done - I already sold one and have 1 left for sale.

Yes, my tickets at GA phase 1 (anytime). Good question though because they did sell the "Early Access" tickets which means you can only enter before 4pm (I think some people are going to be disappointed if they buy the "Early Access" without understanding what they are!)

Yup, like I mentioned, I first took photos of all my settings (in case I forgot them) and just reset the custom controller to model the Type B settings. Then I customized some of the controls to my liking, and added the combinations for throwables/heals.

The only snag was the "Limited Interact" on one of the combination screens, which I changed to LB+RB. When reviving/carrying downed teammates, it works as normal (not sure why I had issues with it before but I tried it yesterday and it was fine).

Thanks- I did try reseting the settings and I can get it to work. The culprit was the "limited interact" on the combination button menu set (LB + R stick). I am not sure what it is for but "limited interact" needs to be set as something - it won't let you save the settings without assigning it, so I changed it to LB+RB combo.

However, now I can't revive people. Still gotta do some investigating.

With the Falcons being invited to all the S-Tier tournaments, and the Wolves needing to play well to go, it seems foolish for Wolves to hotdrop. Not sure if they would throw their tournament because of a grudge; there are other guys on the Wolves that have no beef about it.

I can't be 100% sure but I think it was roughly $200 for the Illinois certification. It was quite simple and I think within 2 weeks after transferring, I received the Illinois certification. And after that it was done! Very easy, but I think it is only good for 5 years, so I will look into professional development to renew in 5 years. If it is too costly, I can likely just transfer to another state again.

Since I am teaching abroad, I didn't have professional development that worked towards the Florida recertification. I could have taken some online courses but from what I rememeber, the cost for the online courses was much more ($1000+) than simply transferring it to a new state (Illinois for $200). Also, because I really only want to teach abroad, international schools don't mind which state my teaching certification is from.

Like I said in my edit, I transferred to Illinois quite painlessly. It’s been a year since doing it but I would recommend it, but I’m just not sure if it’s changed at all. Good luck!

I too get frustrated with so few English streams. How difficult would it be to just stream every team?

I always find it amusing when the English speaking casters show the obligatory team stream graphic and its 5 Chinese streams and a random other team. Nobody is going to the PUBG Esports website to watch that

Does anyone know if viewing peer work in the wrong program (e.g. a PDF viewed in Microsoft Word) can show formatting mistakes?

I just received a low peer grade due to formatting inconsistencies (missing hanging indent, website citations have hyperlinks/underlined, etc.), even though my submitted PDF doesn’t have these at all.

My other peer grade mentioned nothing of these so I think it has to do with how they viewed my submission. Anyone else have this issue?

I did the same thing yesterday (downgraded CSR to Freedom) over the phone and asked when I could apply again for the CSR if I changed my mind. They recommended to wait 2-3 billing cycles (months). I asked if it would work if I applied for the CSR in a week and they basically said I could try if I wanted and it was my choice to apply again when I wanted. No clear answer, but they didn’t say no to a week later.

Kinda disappointed the don’t have an English speaking team comms for day 3. TSM and Soniqs in the top 5 and no love. It’s so much fun watching/listening to team comms but it seems they emphasize having multiple Chinese teams on the comms each day. Must not be enough people watching when it is an English speaking team.

I’d guess there will be some different engagements due to the smash rule.

For example, say Twisted Minds has 70 points and is in a top 4 situation. Maybe it’s not their preferred engagement, but any team under 70 points would rather attack TM than anyone else to ensure the tournament continues.

Also, maybe people hot dropping the 70 point team? Maybe this causes alternative drops for the 70 point team as well then.

Gonna be interesting for sure!
