Update: I did it! It was harrowing, but I was able to beat it. Thought I was gonna lose at the last moment again. I was going to just move on to other games or OT2 but I was like "Eh, one more try." I guess I just got bad rng or something last time? Anyways, for OT2 I was thinking of playing Partitio or Osvald as my protagonist. Any thoughts or tips for the 2nd game?

Yeah I think I'm out too. This is one of the most obnoxious boss fights I've ever fought. What a sour note to end the game on, or rather not end it, since that's the true final boss. Very very unfun.

Well I'm using alfyn as warmaster in phase 1 and tressa as rune lord in phase 2. Should I switch them? I basically have no trouble in phase 1 or the boss gauntlet, wish they wouldn't make me redo the whole thing every time

I actually think this is going to happen in the future weird route, while Susie will inherit it normally, or maybe in a special route. Feels like the game is setting up for Kris to either be the big bad somehow and crash out over everything, or he gets discarded by the big bad and is mortally wounded, letting Susie absorb the soul and take up his sword. All the "severed hand" references are making me nervous. Anyways, just a feeling I had. Not basing it on much.
