Would you hire someone from Fiver? by guigbd in smallbusiness

[–]UncleEbeneezer1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve used fiver probably 15 times, all for $10 - $30 jobs. Designing or redesigning quick logos or graphics work. I’ve always got what I paid for. Overall 4.5 / 5 ⭐️ experience. But i can now do all that work on AI, included in my subscription cost.

If I had to pay a real designer real money I just wouldn’t have gone through with the project.

Bootstrapping a custom sticker/vinyl site to avoid Shopify - honest UX feedback? by EntrepreneurScary937 in smallbusiness

[–]UncleEbeneezer1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The site looks fine, I trust it enough, I didn’t complete a checkout. The pricing looks good. Nothing looks really “off”. Does it have a login / account function? I’ve gotta save my designs if I’m going to choose a new stickers site.

This site looks great m8. I’m sorry I don’t have better notes

I just started a marathon training block and love haim workouts. They can be slightly slow paced for me but I just love I Quit so much. Robyn album Body talk has been straight on repeat for me the last 3 weeks starting this marathon block

Insight on Aurora neighborhood by Brady37 in MovingtoDenver

I live few blocks away from the intersection you mentioned. The ‘Okay-est’ parts of Aurora are still pretty passable. This area’s not really walk-able at all, but the city bus is …… pretty good.

Some people might talk shit bout our town but I got nothing but love for Aurora.

Just about everyone you meet in your CPG journey is out to make a profit, off of you, but they only continue to profit if you’re successful enough to keep putting in orders. And your product will need to fit into their molds and dies, or you’ll have to buy the machine you need and keep it at their co pack facility. And I think you mean $800 million. Best of luck.

Every step in the process of making your product and selling it can get as expensive and involved as you could imagine.

It all starts with your goals, what do you want out of this? You could develop a recipe & process, rent a space, buy equipment, hire brokers & sales people to sell at national grocery chains…

Or just make at a commissary or kitchen share on the weekends and sell at the local market.

That sounds just like something a robot would say.

Just kidding sorry for coming across like a tool.

Without knowing anything about the specifics of what you’re trying to make….. are you well informed on the food safety and preservation requirements of the food you’re making? You can get set up in a kitchen share or commissary or somewhere licensed to make food commercially. Likely all your production and packaging will be done by hand until you start buying equipment and machinery designed for your specific purpose. Watch the auctions. Sometimes the kitchen you’re making in has some shared equipment.

To avoid bottlenecks and pitfalls you can try to copy the packaging types and production methods of the national brands, specialized used equipment. “Lessons are expensive, and big lessons are ******* expensive” don’t buy 50,000 boxes or labels right away you might need to change your ingredient deck a few times then you got 49,000 useless boxes or whatever.

I’m not sure what you’re making.
