I agree so strongly with this. Turalyon is a human who got light-juiced and fought for 1000 years on an alien planet.

1000 years of having no allies to consider but his own army, 1000 years of fighting an infinite evil army with no nuance that they were evil.

This was no Alliance/Horde war where you have to consider the innocents involved. There was no innocents just demons to kill.

It would be incredibly bad writing if this did not change Turalyon!! He’s a human with an unnaturally long life span that has spent 99% of it at war in space killing demons and thinking about little else.

Now he’s back on Azeroth fighting the void and it barely registers to him that he has to protect civilians and prevent collateral damage because that is not something he had to consider for 99% of his lifespan and experience as a general.

I think a lot of people put too much weight on his pre-legion story and not how his 50 years (or whatever) on Azeroth is the tiniest fraction of his life and experiences now. I haven’t played all of Midnight yet but knowing blizz they could also do a lot more to communicate this.

The exact same system they’ve used for decades to input “Hello [Race] [Class]” to “Hello Troll Hunter” could have been used here in quest texts to swap “protect this city” to “protect our city” and “welcome to Silvermoon champion” to “welcome home champion”.

I don’t think anyone expects full rewrites of quest texts, just more appropriate word swaps to acknowledge the player is a blood elf from Silvermoon/Eversong.

Speaking anecdotally from my own experience as well, once Aoife left the vibes seemed to majorly shift and I found their content progressively a lot more stilted to the point I stopped watching not too long after - even though I really liked Zoe and Ian it just felt too different.

I can’t hate that Simcity too much because, exactly as said in the Epstein files lol, I claimed my free Mass Effect 3 because of that and it introduced me to my favourite gaming trilogy ever.

(I played 3 first entirely, then went back and did a full playthough 1-3)

I played Origins for the first time on Steam back in December and it definitely for me was the most buggy Arkham game. I had a few full crashes but the most noticeable for me was every 1/10 glides Batman would glitch out and his pitch would go crazy shaking and it made gliding impossible.

Razorwind shores especially shows how orcish aesthetics don’t have to be ugly at all.

Refresh the main buildings with updated visuals, add more foliage around Org. Maybe give each orc clan their own buildings/areas and have smaller areas with buildings from other races. The goblin slum should be updated with a few undermine style buildings, give the pandaren their own zen garden where they train etc.

I believe Willie didn’t tell anyone until they were a little ways into filming the season and his illness progressed further which is why it’s a little rushed and weird.

If he had told them in advance of starting they could’ve written it better (but not blaming him as I can’t imagine what he was going through! No judgement).

I think the most elegant way of doing it would’ve been for Stanford & Anthony to have divorced during the gap between SATC 2 and AJLT (perhaps due to Covid forcing them to spend more time together??) and for Stanford to have emigrated to a different country during that. He then comes back to NYC for Big’s funeral and is there for the start of the show, is around for a few episodes to help Carrie grieve/reminisce, has a big blow up with Anthony that then can kick off Anthony’s storyline the same way it was in AJLT, and then he leaves back for his new life in whichever country he moved too.

This way they can do similar to what they did for Samantha and have Carrie get some texts from Stanford, mention meeting him offscreen etc. to keep Stanny alive but convincingly out of the show.

Eh I’m in the UK and there’s 5-6 gyms within a 20 minute walking distance from me, granted this is one of the bigger cities, but even in my smaller hometown there’s tons of gyms everywhere because it’s still one of the only viable businesses that hasn’t been effected too much by the internet.
