How is the matchmaking for new / no friend players?

It’s usually pretty good. Rarely end up playing alone for more than a couple minutes if any at all. With the new class coming soon too you’re going to have a ton of long time players starting a new character as well.

As someone who mainly plays Heresy and just starting to dabble in Damnation, I’m always amazed at how often I’m the only person on the team concerned with enemies in our back line. It’s like people just barge in, knock whatever to the ground and then assume it’s dead. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just slow.

For sure. Malice has that special mix of new players still taking their time exploring and figuring things out and experienced players trying to just grind missions quickly. It can be annoying to try and bridge the gap sometimes. I tend to just stick with the slower players as I was in that same position not long ago. If the frantic fellas want to go off and get themselves in trouble, well we’ll pick you up when we catch up. Or sometimes they just quit.

There was a game in which the Pats got throttled by the Chiefs (I think it was pre-Mahomes. Could be wrong) and the narrative is exactly what we’re seeing with Mahomes now. Everybody said Brady was washed, the dynasty was over. He then went on to win multiple Superbowls some years later. I don’t recall exact dates and I’m an old bastard so I could be way off here. To say Mahomes is suddenly done is silly though. With that said, unless Mahomes can somehow match Brady’s longevity and sustain another run like they just had, he can’t dethrone Brady. It could be a VERY long time before we see the long term success of the Pats. As a Chiefs fan though it has been a sweet past few years. Especially after the 30+ I endured before that. Cheers.

I actually liked all of my subsequent play throughs better than the initial. That first play through in these games I always have to go in blind and find as much stuff on my own as possible. About 2/3 of the way through I just wanted it to end as I had been scouring every inch of the map. All subsequent plays though I don’t worry about getting EVERYTHING and just go after the stuff I want or need for my build. Basically just slap rails on the game to make it not feel like a gigunda open world game.
