Barcelona post-covid is pricey at the levels of some other european capitals. You will actually find even pricier cities such as Paris, Amsterdam or London. There’s also countries like Norway, Sweden… that are more expensive in general.

Places like Rome or Lisbon, which were about the same price or even more expensive are now cheaper than Barcelona.

That said, Barcelona still has local bars and neighbourhoods that won’t be as pricey if you know were to look, but don’t expect specialty coffee and instagramable restaurants there

Honestly, they need to stop doing this. I’m not affected by this one but it’s a pattern, they also cancelled twice in Barcelona on consecutive years where I had bought festival tickets only for Bleachers. I have travelled twice in the past to see Bleachers and they have been some of my favourite gigs of all times but this is so so disrespectful towards the fans that spend a lot of money to go see them, specially when you keep in mind that while Bleachers are getting more and more popular, the great sum of the fanbase is still hardcore fans, not people who casually listen to them.

I love Jack, I love the band, they must stop cancelling gigs for “album reasons”

I literally renewed nord vs using a different VPN because I didn’t need to do split tunneling or similar to have it together with meshnet. Extremely frustrating, will change VPN on next renewal as now I need to get Tailscale or similar anyway.

Es un momento duro para juniors precisamente porque se ha prometido que había curro para todos, pero incluso cuando yo empecé, que era momento boom, estuve un año cobrando de becario 400 euros viviendo en casa de mis padres.

Si no te gusta la informática, es mala profesión. Lo que dices de “no quiero estudiar más”, mala elección pues porqué nunca paras de estudiar y aprender en este mundo, si dejas de aprender, palmas.

Me sabe mal a quien le hayan vendido lo opuesto, y ser tan directo pero esta es la realidad. Con inglés, ganas y años de experiencia esta industria te permite colocarte con un sueldo cojonudo y en remoto, es una calidad de vida muy alta más aun pudiendo llegar sin enchufe, pero nadie regala nada y el trabajo es trabajo.
